Bring your $2 donation to the meeting! Well be helping out with Santa Cop toy sorting in the next few weeks as the holidays approach. More details soon. Child Enrichment Classes are at Kennedy MS on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Youll just be hanging out with/supervising the kids. Sign up on the stage at meetings. In December and January, well be helping sort and box food at the NTFB. There will be sign ups at the meeting on 11/20. Contact Nick to sign up early.

Volunteer and Point Opportunities: Attendance Office (Weekly) We could use 2 volunteers in the attendance office from 77:25 every morning, weekly. Attend everyday for a week to earn a point. Boys and Girls Club (Tuesdays and Thursdays) The Boys and Girls Club is open from 4-6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Its located at 1000 Enterprise Dr.Grand Prairie, TX, 75051. Be sure to sign in there. Child Enrichment/Adult ESL Classes (Tuesdays and Thursdays) Child enrichment and adult ESL classes are held at Kennedy Middle School on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They need help supervising and playing with the kids. If you go, youll be doing things like playing sports and games or coloring with the kids. Sign ups will be on the stage at the meeting. Upcoming classes are on the following days: 11/5, 11/7, 11/12, 11/14, 11/19, 11/21, 12/3, 12/5 A Tisket, A Tasket, A Thanksgiving Basket (11/6) Were putting together food baskets for some families at South for Thanksgiving. Were asking for $2 donations to pay for the food. Bring your money to the meeting on 11/6 to earn a point! Diabetes Walk (Thurs., 11/14)- NHS is going to have a carnival booth at the Diabetes Walk! A point can be earned by donating a prize for the booth or by helping set up and run the booth. Homeless for a Night Donations (11/15) Were collecting donations for the homeless for a night event coming up. Donate any THREE of the following by 11/15 for a point: deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, fragrances, mouthwash, or lotion. Donations need to include three of the listed items and they need to be travel sized. Band Concert (Tues., 12/17) The band is having a Christmas concert on Tuesday, 12/17. Theyll need help setting up and directing parents to different areas in the building (being a host/usher). There will be two shifts: 5:30-7:30 and 7-9. Sign up at the meeting.

Upcoming Opportunities: Santa Cop (TBA) Well be helping out with Santa Cop toy sorting in a few weeks as the holidays approach. More details soon. Prairie Lights (11/28-12/31) NHS will be volunteering at Prairie Lights this holiday season. Well have more details soon. North Texas Food Bank (12/21; 1/4) Well be volunteering at the North Texas Food Bank on 12/21 and 1/4 from 9-11:30. Both days are Saturdays over winter break. Well be working with a bunch of other volunteers to sort and box various food items for distribution across the metroplex. We need at least 10 volunteers! Sign ups at 11/20 meeting. Contact Nick to sign up early.
