Symptom Inverter failure. Unable to turn on the LCD backlight lamps. Cause Tolerances of components have been altered within the inverter PCB, modify the PCB to the new specification. Electrolytic capacitors C1, and C2 of this PCB may also be at risk of puncture or drying out if they come for certain batches. Check Table-2 to see whether yours are at risk. Cure Change parts on the Inverter Board of LGD 32inch LCD, please see the following instruction. 1. Confirm if the Version No. of the LGD Inverter Board is Rev 0.8 (Refer to photographs). 2. Change the Capacitors and Resistors shown in Table-1. 3. Replace the Electrolytic Capacitor (C1, C2) if the Lot No. corresponds with the applicable batches shown in Table-2.
