com CCSD Human Resources: Please accept this letter of interest and enclosed resume for a position as an elementary school general education teacher or an elementary school resource room teacher. I earned my B.A. degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education from Nevada State College. As a dedicated teaching professional, with many years of experience in working with children, I am confident you will find me to be a valuable member of your teaching staff and would appreciate the opportunity to interview. I completed my student teaching at C.T Sewell Elementary School in both a general education classroom and also a resource room that supported students in kindergarten through fifth grades. Being able to be part of childrens educational experience has been a constant source of inspiration and motivation to strive to give each child the best education that supports their needs. I was able to take part in collaborating with teaching staff to deliver an effective education to all students. The feedback and encouragement from my cooperating teachers, supervisors, and professors has enabled me to be confident in creating an engaging learning experience for each child I teach. As an educator, I feel it is important to allow each student the opportunity to meet goals, feel confident and comfortable in the classroom environment, and be ready by exit. I have extensive experience in working with children with over six years of substitute teaching within Clark County School Districts elementary schools, over three years experience as a teachers assistant in several elementary grades, and also experience in before and after school programs on elementary school campuses.
