Take tank with a facilities of level measurement, level adjustment, flow discharge and flow control.
Measure the diameter and length of the discharge pipe.
Open the discharge valve so that flow takes place.
Adjust the flow rate into the tank so that level of water in the tank remains constant.
Collect the water in a container.
Find the time taken for collecting. 5 liters of water.
Repeat this reading for at least five times so as to measure the uncertainty of measurement.
Change the head of the water. With out any change in the discharge pipe
Repeat the steps 3,4,5,and 6.
Change the head of the water. With out any change in the discharge pipe
Repeat the steps 3,4,5,and 6.
Calculate the volume flow rate and velocity through the pipe in all above cases.
Plot volume flow rate vs head and discuss the results.

Remove the discharge pipe and replace it by a pipe of the same diameter as the first pipe but having
more length than the first one.
Repeat the steps 3,4,5,and 6 for the same level or the head of the water in the tank..

Take a rod.
Measure its length and diameter.
Take water in a beaker and heat it till it boils.
Measure its temperature.
Dip one end of the rod in the beaker.
Measure the surface temperature at other end of the rod.
Repeat this reading at least five times so as to calculate the uncertainty of measurement.
Remove heater and take the temperatures of the water and the other end of the rod only once.\
Repeat the reading for the same rod for three more temperatures.
Change the rod by the rod of the same material and same diameter but of different length.
Repeat steps 3,4,5,6,8,9

Measure the values of Heat transfer Coefficient.
Plot K vs length along with theoretical curves and discuss the results
