Babel
Babel is the second studio album by British indie folk band Mumford and Sons. Markus Dravs produced this album along with the first one, sigh No More. Glasstones strategy for raising awareness of Babel began with the band's maiden voyage to Hoboken.

The Aug. 1 show was the first date of the tour. The tour was spread across 15 U.S. cities. This allowed Mumford & Sons to introduce "Babel" songs to stateside fans, because they normally travel outside of the US. "I think that the No. 1 focus of the plan was that the band was going to be here for almost two months, setting up their record and playing their record -- which is kind of a ballsy move, playing half of your new album each night," Glassnote founder Daniel Glass says. "No. 2, keeping them connected to radio, particularly noncommercial, triple A and alternative. And keeping them attached to retail, particularly indie retail, and making sure there was good value there for them. And then letting [the album] ride free -letting the streaming services help exposes it.

Mumford and Sons formed in December of 2007. The members of Mumford & Sons have shared a common purpose, to have fun. They make music that matters, without taking themselves too seriously. The group is consisted of 4 young men from West London in their early twenties. Together they produce a sound unlike any other band. Not only are they band members but they are also great friends. Marcus Mumford, Country Winston, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane create music with unique instruments and an old timey sound. They create a old sound that is said to be a combination of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young with the band Kings Of Leon. They produce an incredible energy that draws us in quickly and make us want to listen to their music over and over again.
