Engineer at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited November 2009 - Present (4 years 1 month) Planning, Execution of erection and commissioning of Electrical systems & Equipment's of a Thermal Power Plant. Monitoring the erection and commissioning activities as per the design documents & specifications. Reporting and resolving any technical issues found during erection and commissioning activities in mutual correspondence with the respective engineering teams. Facilitating the sub-contractor for the completion of erection and commissioning of the equipments on time by closely monitoring the material supply, availability of erection and commissioning fronts, technical clarification etc., Coordinating between customer and contractor for timely completion of the project. Checking the day to day progress and man power allotted in respective areas. If found any delay or requirement of additional man power, coordinating with the respective contractor to do the needful. On- site inspection of erection and commissioning of the systems as per the prescribed filed quality plans. Vallur Thermal Power Plant May 2011 to Present Members:Parthiban S. 3 X 500 MW Thermal Power Plant Primarily responsible 1. Erection and commissioning of ESP, DVAR, LT switchgear etc., 2. Planning and monitoring of execution 3. On site Inspection 4. Material follow up with stores and manufacturing units and vendors 5. Resolving of non conformities found ( design, manufacturing, erection and commissioning) by coordinating with respective design, quality, commercial and sub contractor teams Unit 1: Successfully commissioned and handed over the following systems to customer 1. Electrostatic precipitator with 4 Passes and 40 fields 2. Variable frequency drives for ID fan 2Nos 3. Brush less excitation system including digital automatic voltage regulator 4.
