Men of Gamma,
We are now in week two of construction at Gamma Chapter and demo work is nearly complete on
second and third house. What remains is the empty shell of the original house. The biggest project
getting underway is the demolition of the 1969 addition. This week crews have been using care to
separate the original house from the addition structure and next week demo crews will be on-site
eating away at the house is a controlled demolition. For those of you visiting us during the Illinois
State vs. Illinois game this weekend you will likely see a scene of a half gone addition. Other
work that has been completed this past week is the removal of crown molding and the old ceiling
throughout the ground floor.
When the addition is gone, work will then begin on footings and foundation work for the new
addition.

We Still Need Your Help!
Although work is underway we have met 90% of our funding goals we must continue our
fundraising efforts to complete the project. We are hoping that as you see work underway, that
you will feel confident in our progress to continue or begin making generous contributions.
