PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
After the completion of program expedition, a photography competition will be held for which attractive cash prizes and certificates will be awarded. You may also send your entries in the form of colored slides or prints on the following subjects: Nature-birds, Flowers, Scenic Beauty, Camping and Trekking.The size of the prints should be 8 x 10. Please give brief details of the location of the subjects and also your name, address and group number on the reverse of the photograph.YHAI has the right to retain/use even the entries which are not selected for awards. Last date for submitting entries is 31st July 2014.

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE

PURPOSE
The purpose of the program is to expose the YHAI members to a greater adventure and to rough the rigors of plodding with a sense of love for nature and outdoor recreational activity aiming at promoting national integration.
Note :Program schedule and routes are subject to change without prior notice.
PARTICIPATION FEE
Rs. 4500 per head for 7 Days enjoyable days. This includes nutritious vegetarian food, accommodation, equipments, training, forest entry fee and group insurance. Note : These programmes are exclusively for YHAI members. Membership is available at Base Camp/Online/State Branch/Units. YHAI Trekking expeditions are not subsidized by the Government or any donors. Important : YHAI group insurance cover is for accidental death or permanent disability only. You are advised to take insurance cover for your journey & other related matters.
HOW TO APPLY
Members desirous of joining this program may apply online through our website www.yhaindia.org or by filling up the prescribed registration form duly supported by a Medical Certificate, along with a DD of requisite amount in favor of Youth Hostels Association of India, payable at New Delhi. Members can also apply through the State Branch or Local Unit of YHAI.
Note : Without admit card, valid membership card & medical certificate do not claim your registration as confirmed.
AGE
The minimum age for joining the expedition is 15 years. This condition will be adhered to strictly. Under age will not be considered in any case.
ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES
Tented accommodation, pucca toilet cum bathroom facility.
CANCELLATION
In case you are unable to join this trip you will get 50% of the program fee as refund, provided your request for cancellation and refund is received by email/ post / courier directly in the National Office on or before 5th April 2014. Please attach the copy of your Admit Card in your cancellation request. Seat once booked mat not be re-scheduled or transferred. There is no refund applicable for the all the program bookings done after 5th April 2014. Any unforseen event / strike or natural calamity will not be considered as a cause of cancellation. Refund may be given after 30 days of completion of the programs.
CERTIFICATES
Participants, who successfully complete the biking and abide by the discipline of the program, will be awarded certificates.
