~ Items allowed
Disposable Cameras or Digital Cameras, Low Profile Lawn Chairs. In order to
minimize visual obstruction, we ask that the seat height for chairs not excede 6
inches, Small Bags or Backpacks, blankets, Tote size Umbrellas, Ponchos or Rain
Coats, Seat Cushions, Snack or Picnic Food, Bottled Water. Strollers are
permitted. Alice recommends you bring a hat and sunscreen because there is not
much shade in Sharon Meadow.

~ What can't I bring into the festival?


Please, don't bring lawn chairs, unless they are low profile lawn chairs that
don't exceed 6 inches. As always, no glass, cans, bottles, alcohol, cameras, video
and audio recording, flyers or signs, frisbees, laser pointers, lawn furniture,
stickers, umbrellas, wagons, carts or tents may be brought into the festival area.
Any items that event organizers consider usable as weapons will be confiscated.
Dogs are allowed, but remember to have your 4our-legged friend on a leash and
bring along water and treats. Sorry no reptiles allowed.

~ How to get to Sharon Meadow?


Sharon Meadow is located across from McLaren Lodge at the corner of Kezar and JFK
Drives, one block off Stanyan. Due to the limited parking at the park, Alice
recommends you use public transport.

~ Driving Directions:
From East Bay: From the Bay Bridge (westbound, Hwy. 80), take Hwy. 101 North
(Golden Gate Bridge). Take the Ninth Street exit and follow the detour signs to
Fell Street. Take Fell Street to the Park (where Fell crosses Stanyan Street and
becomes John F. Kennedy Jr. Drive).

From Marin County: From the Golden Gate Bridge (southbound, Hwy. 1), take the
Golden Gate Park/19th Avenue exit. Eventually, this will become Park Presidio
Blvd. Follow the signs to Golden Gate Park (if you don't, you will end up on a
road going through the Park; you will not be able to get off this road to get into
the Park).

From the Peninsula: Take Hwy. 101 north towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Take the
Fell/Laguna Street exit; continue straight coming off the exit and this will put
you onto Fell Street. Take Fell Street to the Park (where Fell crosses Stanyan
Street and becomes John F. Kennedy Jr. Drive).

~ Parking:
Available at St. Mary's Hospital (Off Fell St.) and at UCSF (Irving & Arguello), 3
blocks from Sharon Meadow.

~ Handicapped Parking:
Alice Radio�s Now and Zen Festival is accessible to persons using wheelchairs and
with other disabilities. Parking for the event will be located on Bowling Green
Drive off of Lincoln Way, near the tennis courts before John F. Kennedy. There
will be reserved parking spots with handicap accessibility and a designated
entrance into the event from the parking lot. A security guard will be stationed
near the area to direct you into the event. Just adjacent to the path, in the
northwest corner of Sharon Meadow will be a platform made available only to
disabled persons and their friends and families. Wheelchair accessible portable
restrooms will be available at both the Kezar Drive and John F. Kennedy Drive
entrances and also directly behind the designated handicapped seating area for
your convenience. If you have any questions regarding this area while attending
the festival there will be knowledgeable security guards available to assist you.

left).

Bus Lines: MUNI Bus #21 to Stanyan & Hayes; MUNI Bus #7, #33, #66, and #71 to
