One of the major sections that were discussed was specifically about the Waiahole Ditch controversy. It gave a detailed account of why it was established and the events leading up to it and the effects during and after the ditch was made. It is not biased but simply informative and factual. This source was used for detailed pictures of the current ditch. It also provided some background information on how the ditch came to be. It is a secondary source. Osorio who is a porfessor of Hawaiian Sstudies at University of Hawaii at Manoa. He was quoted on the compare and contrast page defending the Windward Farmers who wanted the Waiahole water.
