together in this glorious place.

Secondly, blessing and salutations let’s praise to our majesty the prophet MUHAMMAD
SAW, who has brought us from the darkness to the lightness, from the dark days to the
bright days.

Respectable the juries.

All honorable teachers who attended in this event. And also all my beloved friends.
Ladies and gentlemen who are blessed by Allah.

In this good occasion I would like to deliver my speech infront of you under the tittle
“LOVE THE HOMELAND”.

Ladies and gentlemen, dear brothers and sisters.!

Indonesia is our country where we were born and raised. Well, some of us might not have
been born and raised in this country, but we admit that now we all live in this beloved
Indonesia, the country where people interact with us everyday. Therefore it can be said that
it is our obligation to payback everything that has been given to us by this country.
Allah says in the holy Quran S. Al-Qoshosh:85
‫ صدق هللا العظيم‬.‫ قل ربي اعلم من جاء بالهدى ومن هو في ضلل مبين‬,‫ان الذين فرض عليك القران لرادك الى معاد‬

Syekh Ismail Haqqi Al-Hanafi Al-Khalwati in it’s interpretation Rahul Bayan, said: “ The
meaning is in the interpretation of Surroh Al-Qoshosh:85, There is a hint or sign that love
the homeland is a part of faith.

Ladies and gentlemen, dear brothers and sisters!

There are things that we must do to show our love to our homeland. One of them is by
studying history. We must study history to know our country better and to love our country
more. And then, we must respect the people. As we know, the people of our country come
from various races, ethnics, and religions. We must respect them regardless their
background to maintain the unity of Indonesia and then we must be proud to communicate
in Indonesia as our official and national language and our local languages in daily life to
preserve them.

Ladies and gentlemen, and dear brothers and sisters!

This is the last part of my speech. I hope this speech can raise our awareness on how
important it is to love our homeland.
Finally, Please forgive me if I make any mistakes in my speech. Thank you for your attention,
see you next time, so long until we meet again.
