Relevant information: EACH STUDENT IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS CLASS AND ON TIME. Regular, on-time class attendance is important because your understanding of the material will be greater, the course will be easier and your grade will be higher. The class presentation will frequently include material that is not in the text. By regularly attending the class, you are also aware of any administrative changes related to the class. A MISSED ASSIGNEMENT RESULTS ON A ZERO GRADING. ACADEMIC INTRGRITY Student-teacher relationships are built on trust. Acts that violate this trust undermine the educational process. Policies dealing with academic dishonesty are specified in The Student Handbook: Code of Student Conduct & Appeal Procedure . These policies help maintain a community of trust and will be strictly enforced. Review these policies, and see the course instructor if you have questions. ATTENTION STUDENTS WITH PSYCHOLOGICAL DISABILIES. There is a free confidential help on campus for students with psychological disabilities (Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety, etc.). Please contact Kim A. Warren, MSW, PhD, LCSW, Supported Education Advisor at 4825252 or at kimawarren@louisiana.edu located in the Conference Center, Room 126.
