Trikefest 2007!

Haspin Acres - Laurel, Indiana.

Friday June 22nd

Wednesday 20th & Thursday 21st

This year were leaving Wednesday the 20th and Thursday the 21st open from any scheduled activity. Your encouraged to be present these days but it is not necessary. In the past years weve used these days previous to trikefest getting to know other riders and also just enjoying all the riding at the Haspin Acres facility. Wednesday and Thursday may be considered free time days.

Presented by www.3wheelerworld.com! & www.3wheelerworldforums.com! Poker Run 9:45AM Fri

2006 was out first year for the poker run and it was a great success! Take this opportunity to ride as a group among these medium difficulty trails. Well also be touring by some landmarks on the Haspin Acres area such as the shoe tree. Working brakes highly suggested! Last years went great and it was very cool to look forward or backwards and see a solid stream of three-wheelers. This year well be ending the poker run at the Devils Backbone in order to start it up. Meet up outside the pavilion at 9:45AM for riders meeting and trail marking discussion Poker run will start at 10:00AM.

Welcome back Threewheeler riders! Who's ready for another weekend of nonstop action?!

Devils Backbone Hill Climb 11:30AM Fri

Last years event was a success with plenty of great moments. For 07 one of the most technical sections on the entire Haspin Acres property is calling your name again. This hill is gnarly and only for the brave with an itch that needs scratched. Either way, spectator or rider the Devils Backbone is not for the faint at heart! Pack some food, group lunch at the backbone during the ride time scheduled!

Food & Gas

Fire the grills up! We recommend that you bring at least one large cooler with all of your food to carry you over while you are there. There is one gas station in the town of Laurel right outside of Haspin Acres that will probably be able to provide you with some minor needs but it is not a grocery store. The closest major town with a grocery store is Connersville, IN to the North.

Camping
Camping at Haspin Acres is primitive with no water or electrical hook ups. Your RV is welcomed but be prepared for a tricky time coming in or out if it rains. A good tent that is rain proof is recommended if you don't have an enclosed trailer or RV. It has rained every year but once, so pack accordingly!

Drag Strip 3:00PM Fri.

Were gonna start the drag strip runs a little bit early this year. From 3:00PM till 5:30PM the runs will be strictly grudge style matches for fun. Quads and dirt bikes are allowed. This has been a whole lot of fun in the past where things have been on the strip ranging from the 3 wheeled car, to CR500 conversions on down to ATC70s! Perfect way to finally settle the questions that beg, Who's faster?! Due to popular demand After 5:30PM Well start getting a little bit more serious. 2 classes will be formed, a General class which is limited to the following: No out frame exhaust pipes, No alcohol burners or nitrous systems, no hybrids, and a maximum +4 swing arm. 2 strokes, and 4 strokes both will be in this class. The top 4 finishers in this class will then run off to determine the fastest in this class. In-between the General and Unlimited classes we will have a half time show by the pee-wee riders with a Youth class. After that the big boys will roll out in the Unlimited class. Anything goes here, street bike power, alcohol, nitrous as long as its on 3 wheels you can race it. See Last page on Brochure for more detailed information classes and structure.

Lodging
Unfortunately there is no local lodging or motels near Haspin. The closest ones are North in Connersville, IN.

Trikefest 06 Memories

Back

Motocross Races 11:30AM Sat.

The MX races are back again in 07 for yet another kick in the pants to those trike riders ready for some high flying action! Whether your clearing a triple in the expert class or rolling through the whoops in the unsuspended class the MX races are definitely an awesome time. Its competing brands against each other, out of state rivalries and accelerating each racer to their individual limits. We do recommend that you try to wear as much safety gear as possible if your going to be racing. Helmet, Goggles, Gloves, Chest protectors, and MX or work boots at the least. We do not want to see any injuries out there. As Always, be extra careful and never ride above your own known abilities! Riders Meet 11:30AM Racing Starts 12:00N More Info: Page 2 Back

Group Picture 5:30PM Sat.

The group picture was rained out in 06 and was severely missed. This year the group picture will be back with a BANG! At 5:30PM Saturday evening we want everyone to bring every three-wheeler they brought with them up to the drag strip where we will form a single file line that winds and weaves its way back behind the main office towards the woods. Lets get them lined up for the worlds longest row of single file three-wheelers!

Photography
Weve once again enlisted the superb photography skills of Mike Davis from Moto Lenz. Just like last year Mike will be able to print professional pictures of the action during the entire weekend right there on the spot. In addition to that, make sure youve brought your own camera to help capture those memories that will last a lifetimeThere's nothing like Trikefest!

Saturday Awards 8:00PM

We nearly blew the roof off the house during last years awards ceremony! Tons of great door prizes, and awards were given away. The camaraderie was great and we hope to have a repeat of that again this year in the Haspin Acres cafeteria. Even more prizes and awards are planned for this year then last year. TONS and TONS of free stuff will be given away so you dont want to miss this climax of the entire event. In addition to all that, the RAFFLE TRIKE will return this year. For 07 we will be selling tickets at last years price of 1 ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20. These tickets will be available for purchase the entire weekend from select people, but will also be available during the awards ceremony. Leave some trailer space cause somebody's taking home an 85 200X with them! Tickets will be available prior to the event on the 3WHeeLeR WoRLD Forums.

Signup closes Saturday at 11:00am!!!!!! Please register early!!! (see TimSr) Safety Equipment Haspin requires helmets be worn at all times. It is also highly recommended that goggles and boots providing ankle protection and pants that cover legs be worn, though the park does not require it. Number Plates We cannot score you if we cant see your number! A rear grab bar number plate, or number plate on back of chest protector is required. Numbers should be 6-8 tall and contrasted to background so our volunteer amateur scorers can easily read them. Front and/or side number plates are also helpful but not required. You cant have too many numbers! It is also suggested that you do not use single digit numbers as it makes duplications a lot more likely, and somebody will have to change their number. We do not provide number plates so youll need to make them, or buy them at your local motorcycle dealer. Cheap number plates and numbers usually run you less than $5. The background plates can be made from cut plastic jugs and numbers can be made from electrical tape. Scoring We will again use super cross style scoring. The first race is strictly for line position in the 2nd moto. Your 2nd moto place is what counts for your final position and trophy. First moto will be 3 laps. 2nd moto will be determined by riders AFTER the first moto.
