A traveling exhibition of works from *the BMAs Matisse collection is on a year-long tour to museums in Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and San Antonio through October 2014. During this time, the BMA will present a special exhibition in the Cone Collection galleries: German Expressionism: A Revolutionary Spirit Through September 14, 2014 Gallery closures and art movement throughout the Museum are anticipated as we make progress on our exciting renovation project.

Pets, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, glass containers, and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. > Thank you for not smoking in the Museum or Sculpture Gardens. > Keep food and drinks out of the galleries. > Lockers are provided at the free checkroom for bags or items larger than 11 x 15 inches (including backpacks, baby backpack carriers, and umbrellas). > Photography for personal use is welcome in collection galleries and gardens during public hourswithout ash, lights, or a tripodprovided it does not endanger works of art or interfere with the viewing experience of others. Art in temporary exhibitions and on loan may not be photographed. Videotaping is not permitted in the galleries. > Sketching is welcome in the galleries with graphite pencils only.
