You help the organization by distributing flyers for the short film BXL-NORD, which premiered on 17 Dec 2013. In the realization of this film, 28-local Brussels residents of different national origins and ages are actively involved. Their neighborhood, Noordwijk is located in the northern part of the inner-Brussels city area. Evaluate eligible film festival locations suitable for the BXL-NORD film screenings. Help prepare the dossier requested by the organizer. Monitor the screenings of the film in Cultural Centres and other venue locations. You work with the organizations Directors, in order to establish a good distribution plan, so that as many people as possible get to see this short film starting from 2014. Fmdo Description Teach Dutch, French or English to children At school, we learn foreign languages, however many students are in need of additional language learning support. Many children have access to additional languages lessons in order to prepare themselves and grasp for new future opportunities. Not everyone has the possibility or can afford private lessons and it is therefore that we would like to start this organization to provide everyone this opportunity. We start with lesson in French, Dutch, Arabic, and English. For the organization of these lessons, we are looking for new volunteers that can teach children on Wednesday afternoons or Saturdays. Pupils will receive extra lessons 2-times per week. We will work in 2-levels: 5-8 years old Group, and 9-12 years old Group. These lessons take place in Molenbeek. You decide for yourself how many hours you have free: 2-hours minimum, 12-hours per week maximum. A volunteer allowance is available! Op school leren we talen maar velen hebben nood aan extra ondersteuning. Vele kinderen nemen extra taallessen om zo zich voor te bereiden op de toekomst en kansen te kunnen grijpen. Niet iedereen heeft de middelen om privlessen te betalen en daarom willen we met deze vereniging ervoor zorgen dat iedereen deze kans kan hebben. We starten met lessen, Frans, Nederlands, Arabisch en Engels. Voor de organisatie van deze taallessen zijn we op zoek naar nieuwe vrijwilligers die de kinderen op woensdagnamiddag of zaterdag les willen geven. De kinderen zullen 2 keer per week een extra les krijgen. We zullen werken met 2 niveaus. Zij tussen 5 en 8 jaar en zij tussen 9 en 12 jaar. Deze lessen zullen doorgaan in Molenbeek. Multicultureel Jongerencentrum Chicago Description Teaching English in a playful way! The project I KIF English is already going on for a year and it is a big success! Young people with no Dutch language background have extra problems with the English language, but would like to get familiar with it. Twice a week, we get together for an hour of playful learning in two levels of English. Once a year, we go together in England and apply what we have learned. We are looking for someone who knows English by heart, who is fond of dealing with teenagers and likes to play games. We shall make the arrangement in a way that the tasks will be performed in accordance with the availability of the volunteer.

Het project I KIF English loopt n jaar in het jeugdhuis en is een groot succes. Jongeren met een niet-Nederlandstalige achtergrond hebben extra problemen met Engels maar willen de taal wel graag onder de knie krijgen. Tweemaal per week, in twee niveaus komen we samen om een uurtje spelletjes te spelen in het Engels. Eenmaal per jaar trekken we samen naar Engeland om onze opgedane kennis in de praktijk te brengen. Diversity-project looking for youth-leaders BINT is a Chiro Brussels program for teenage girls living in the Brussels area. During a 2-year learning period, the Bint Girls become acquainted with playing games, the importance of a good players attitude, and how to provide guidance in working with Brussels youth and Chiro! After 2 years, a Primary Facilitator (Animator) Diploma is awarded to successful candidates who complete this program. To support this process, we are looking for Volunteer Counselors who can guide the girls who join this BINT project. Do you have an Animator Certificate? And can you provide guidance to selfleadership to the group of girls in this training program? Dienst Voor Sociale Rentegratie Description Prisoner Visitor We are looking for volunteers who would visit prisoners who do not have or have a very few visits from their social network. Through the visitors, the prisoners keep in touch with the outside world.Our visitors are active in the Brussels prisons: Vorst, Sint Gilles and Berkendael -- two prisons for men and one for women. The visits could take place during the whole week (Monday thru Sunday). In view of the mixed population of the prison, we are looking for volunteers who are especially well-versed or have good command of other languages such as Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Arabic, Bulgarian, Russian, etc., but can also speak French or Dutch and/or English. The conversations between the prisoner and the volunteer could be about anything and everything. You must be at least 25 years of age.

De bezoekers zijn vrijwilligers die gedetineerden gaan bezoeken die weinig of geen bezoek krijgen van hun sociaalnetwerk. De gedetineerden behouden door middel van de bezoekers een contact met de samenleving waarvan ze werden gescheiden. Onze bezoekers zijn actief in de Brusselse gevangenissen: Vorst, Sint Gilles en Berkendael. Twee mannengevangenissen en een vrouwengevangenis. De bezoeken kunnen de hele week (maandag - zondag) plaats hebben. Gezien de gevangenispopulatie zijn we op zoek naar vrijwilligers die vooral ook een andere taal machtig zijn, zoals Spaans, Italiaans, Turks, Arabisch, Bulgaars, pools, Russisch, enz. maar we zoeken ook vrijwilligers die Frans, Nederlands en Engels spreken. Onze vzw heeft jouw hulp als vrijwilliger meer dan nodig. Dankzij jouw inzet voelen ouders zich welkom op de consultatiebureaus. Wat doe je als vrijwilliger op het consultatiebureau? Je zorgt voor een warm onthaal: je geeft uitleg over hoe alles verloopt, je toont waar het kindje kan uitgekleed worden en helpt waar nodig, je meet en weegt de kindjes, je schrijft de gegevens op in het gezondheidsboekje, je zorgt ervoor dat alles vlot verloopt, je zorgt voor een goede hygine. Signaleren: Wat je van ouders hoort of ziet tijdens de zitting kan belangrijk zijn. Deze informatie geef je na de zitting door aan de arts en de verpleegkundige.
