Rok Cup Canada Classes
Senior ROK - ROK 125cc (with new or old style clutch) (with Rok Jr. pipe or header) - Ages 13-15 - 320lbs - Premium pump - Front brakes allowed - MG yellow tires (4.5-7.10)
Must have a minimum of 10 drivers in order to be run as a class and qualify for trophies and prizes

ROK GP - ROK GP as per Official ROK Cup rule book, Super Rok Rules with the exclusive use of the ROK GP Ignition system - Ages 16+ - 365 lbs - Front brakes allowed - Premium pump gas - MG yellow tiers (4.5-7.10)

Series events are integrated into slected West Coast Kart Club Events. The formats are as follows: DUAL RACE WEEK ENDS SATURDAY: Practice in respective groups. - Qualifying - PRE FINAL - FINAL SUNDAY: -Practice in respective groups -Qualifying - PREFINAL - FINAL SINGLE RACE WEEK ENDS SATURDAY: PRACTICE SUNDAY: -WARM UP PRACTICE -QUALIFYING - PREFINAL - FINAL

The Western Canadian Grand Prize


The 2014 Rok Prizes. The Rok Cup Grand Prize is a position on Team Canada as part of a Vortex sponsored entry into the Rok Cup World Final in Lonato Italy. An entry to the Rok Cup World Final will be awarded to the points winners of the Western Canadian ROK Cup in the Rok GP class. In the event that the recipient cannot accept the prize or make the trip to the World Finals, the prize will then be awarded to the next finisher (ie: 2nd place and so on until a qualified winner is determined.) The Rok GP First place grand prize includes; 3 nights hotel accommodation for the driver, race entry fees, a six tire voucher and track side food vouchers for the driver. Motor is not supplied

2014 WESTERN CANADIAN ROK CUP SPORTING REGULATIONS


ANYTHING THAT IS NOT EXPRESSLY ALLOWED IS FORBIDDEN Karts allowed to take part: The Rok Cup is restricted to karts with 125cc ROK engines, and CIK homologated chassis. Non homologated chassis and parts require approval by the organizers of Rok Cup Canada. Rok GP may use the front hand brake system. The karts allowed to take part must also be CIK homologated. Substituting the vehicle, motor or chassis during the course of the event is forbidden; each driver may use just one chassis and one motor per race. In the event of a catastrophic failure of the motor or chassis, a substitute may be used at the agreed discretion of the race director and the race organizer. Battery Every kart must run a battery capable of restarting the kart. Light batteries are allowed as per CIK /FIA ROK CUP Rules. Tires. Tires used must be by MG. Approved compounds are the MG Yellow FZ. (All Juniors and drivers must use 7.10 size rear tires.) Rain Tires will be MG WT Tires exclusively.

Drivers allowed to take part Drivers shall be allowed to take part in the Rok GP who are 16+ years of age or older and in possession of an International CIK license, or required local karting license. The Canadian Rok Cup is not restricted to Canadian drivers only. Drivers from other countries are welcome to compete in the Canadian Rok Cup Series.

Trophy Organization & Points WCKC SERIES Equal points will be awarded for each of the 7 points races. Trophies at the end of the series will be awarded to the top three qualified drivers who have the highest combined total points. In the case of the WCKC series 6 of the 7 points races. In the case of the ROK Shoot out race, the top three drivers with the highest point total will be presented with trophies. Qualifying positions will be used as a tie breaker. All Drivers will come to the podium dressed in their suits and race shoes. Suits must be zipped up all the way during presentations and photo ops. Drivers must make themselves available for interviews before or after the podium presentation. The following points shall be awarded to the first 15 drivers of each event. Points are scored for all heat races. There will be two throw away race for the 10 race six event championship. Each event will consist of one or two separate points races as per the WCKC schedule. Grid qualifying positions for the first heat race at each event will be based on a timed qualifying session. The grid position for the final heat will be based on the drivers finishing position in the first heat at that event. A DQ can not be used as a throw away.

Entry There must be at least 10 drivers entered into the ROK cup series for the prizes to be valid. In the event that 10 entries are not made, the prizes may not be valid Grand Prize Ground transportation, extra accommodations for additional people traveling with the prize winner, food and general living expense costs while attending the Rok Cup World Finals will be the responsibility of the respective prize winners. All prizes must be accepted as awarded and have no cash value whatsoever and are not transferable. Class Weight Rok GP will be 365lbs Fuel Fuel and oil for all races will be spec. Spec oil is Motul Grand Prix Or Kart 2T Fuel will be Chevron 94 MOTOR SPEC: As Pe ROK Cup International motor rules. for All parts must be Vortex ROK OEM only, no substitutions will be allowed.

Tech Tech will be performed throughout the race weekend. The organizer has the right to tech any competitors kart at any time throughout the weekend. If a driver is disqualified after qualifying the driver may rectify the technical issue and race the event with no qualifying time. If a driver is disqualified after heat/race one or two, the driver will have the heat/race points taken away. The driver may rectify the technical issue and race next heat/race. Engines will be sealed after Qualifying and remain sealed for all three races per weekend
