Playing Doctor
We recently had a fun visit from the Doctor. To help the kids overcome their fear of doctors, our visiting doctor, Doctor Mohammad, gave Balloons, sweets and had a blast playing with everyone. So much fun not only helped everyone welcome Doctor Mohammad with open arms but also inspired some of our kids to dress up as Doctors and nurses.

Learn trough play

Our motto of 'learning through play' is always present in our daily activities. This month we enjoyed group Salah, we spent endless hours in the Lab and we met our puppet friends. Green fingers!! A few weeks ago, the children took part in a gardening activity which very well complimented our theme of creation. The children took turns planting seeds and watering them while we kept a watchful eye, waiting for them to sprout! Books, books, books. Seeking knowledge is very important for Muslims, as the prophet Mohammed SAW said, The seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim (Al Tirmidhi, hadith 74). At British Islamic Nursery, We are teaching the children the Dua for knowledge 'rabbi zidni ilma' and together with the Dua, we wish to instil in them the love for books, reading and learning. Mini Chefs This month we had so much fun in the kitchen, we prepared some delicious pizzas and yummy dates and honey sweets.

Also add a pinch of salt Add the honey and the date paste When the semolina cools down, mix the semolina and date paste by hand. Knead the dough and shape it depending on your preference
