Contractor also shoul& calculate an& a&?ust thic;ness of insulation to ensure &esi)n tem%eratures at equi%ment. All a&hesi es a%our coatin)1 mastics1 la))in) an& 9e&&in) com%oun&s shall 9e com%ati9le (ith the materials to (hich the' are a%%lie&. If1 ho(e er1 &efects are re eale&1 further sections shall 9e cut out for ins%ection1 an& all cutout sections shall 9e re%lace& at no cost to the Contract. If further &efects are re eale& then the #n)ineer shall ha e the ri)ht1 (hen in its o%inion it is necessar'1 to issue instructions for an' %art or the (hole of the insulation to 9e remo e& an& re%lace&. The re%lacement (ith ne( insulation shall 9e to the satisfaction of the Com%an' an& the cuttin) out an& re%lacin) shall 9e at no cost to the Contract. 6.6 0articular attention shall 9e %ai& to the finishe& a%%earance of all thermal insulation (hich must %resent a neat an& s'mmetrical a%%earance runnin) true in line (ith %i%e la'outs1 etc. An' rou)h1 irre)ular an& 9a&l' finishe& surfaces shall 9e stri%%e& &o(n an& re<insulate& to the Com%an':s satisfaction.
