DOWNTOWN HOMEWOOD ART & GARDEN STREET FAIR 2014 VENDOR APPLICATION

The Village of Homewood invites you to participate as a vendor in its Seventh Annual Downtown Art and Garden Street Fair on Friday, June 13 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, June 14 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Chicagoland media has featured the event as the perfect combination of a traditional art fair with the lively experiences of an outdoor, evening festival. The Street Fair's reputation for a one-of-a-kind collection of fine art, contemporary crafts, antiques, and garden dcor has landed Homewood on ABC, WGN, WBEZ, Chicago Tribune, and dozens of family-focused publications and media. The Fair is held on historic Martin Avenue, a tree-lined street with unique boutiques, taverns, and restaurants to create a uniquely welcoming atmosphere for artists and visitors to meet and do business. The Fair boasts an active and lively environment with entertainment and cultural opportunities and all the rich features of a traditional outdoor experience for art admirers and buyers of all levels. Downtown Homewood has served as a venue for art events for more than 30 years.

DOWNTOWN HOMEWOOD ART & GARDEN STREET FAIR 2014 VENDOR INSTRUCTIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Return application to the, Village of Homewood, Attn: Art & Garden Street Fair | 2020 Chestnut Road, Homewood, IL 60430. Completed applications may also be submitted electronically to aopyd@homesweethomewood.com must have Art & Garden Street Fair in subject field to ensure delivery. Accepted vendors will receive a welcome packet, containing set-up and tear down procedures, event details, and information on the surrounding community. Applications MUST include payment. Payment can be taken over the phone if necessary. We have limited space available, guarantee yours by April 10th New vendors MUST include photos with application for approval process Vendor fee is for a 10 x 10 space only, canopied tents, chairs, tables are not supplied Indicate electrical and extra space requirements Vendor to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance, along with a signed Hold Harmless Agreement (to be provided later) Sell beer/wine and acquire State of IL and Village of Homewood liquor licenses Use of recyclable paper products i.e. cups and plates Must provide heating and cooling for food to the standards of Cook County and State of IL Health Department Provide a childrens menu selection A welcome packet will be sent to restaurant containing set-up and tear down procedures, event details, and information on the surrounding community. Vendor must reserve space no later than Tuesday, May 20, 2014.

Larger Space Required Larger spaces are available ranging from 14' to 20' in width at $25.00 per additional foot. Additional Electricity Two separate 20 amp circuits will be provided. Additional electrical needs are subject to a charge of $50.00 or more.

Vendor Terms and Conditions

All payments received are non-refundable. Recognition on printed materials is dependent upon date of reservation and the Village of Homewood cannot guarantee inclusion in all items. The Village may also have marketing materials circulating for this event, secured prior to sponsor solicitation; therefore these materials are excluded from this agreement. The Village/ DHBA are responsible for the planning, production and on-site supervision of the Art and Garden Street Fair. The Village/ DHBA have last approval on all copy materials, and reserve the right to require changes to ad copy.
