THE STORY OF A BUSY SUMMER
THE SUMMER IS GONE - and we hardly
know what happened to it!
JUNE flew by with a special teen work
week at our home church, tent meetings
with our fellowship of churches, and our
annual yard sale thrown in for good
measure! As you might suppose, we were
a bit worn out.
JULY AND AUGUST we spent in New
Hampshire, visiting with family and
speaking at churches. We were so excited Enjoying some fleeting NH sun!
to see the Lord provide meetings for four
out of the five Sundays we had available.
LIVING IN A TENT for three weeks was a
bit crazy - but we enjoyed the chance it
gave us to spend time with Michael’s
parents. The other half of our time we
were able to use part of the attic in their
garage! Praise the Lord for His Provision
of a HUGE tent for our family! Our HUGE tent. Mr. & Mrs. Seth Callahan

being a part of Michael’s sister Rochelle’s

wedding. We were so happy to see Seth
Callahan become a part of our family!

PRAISE GOD that the kids travel very
well! We were able to take a few days and
enjoy some family vacation time during
our travels.

A Vision For West Africa

NEW TRIBES is looking at missions in
West Africa a little differently these days.
Before, each country was considered a
‘field’, with its own leadership and support
team. This is a good approach which works
well around the world. However, one
downfall of this approach is that tribal
groups (especially in Africa) do not care
about country borders! NTM is moving
towards viewing West Africa as a one
region, instead of many different fields.
This will allow us to target unreached
people groups more effectively; reducing
the possibility of duplicated efforts, as well
as keeping a work active even when one
country shuts down due to
unrest. We will also be able
to better partner with the
West African church.
WHAT does this mean for
us? Even though we are still
planning to head to Guinea,
we may end up in another Rhoncus tempor placerat.

Africa. We are very excited about these “…looking at

SO WHAT IS IN STORE for the Dore
family? We continue to contact
churches, small groups and
individuals as we look for people who
desire to partner with us in prayer,
finances, and encouragement. PRAY
that God would open doors for us to
share and that we would be able to
minister in each church we visit. We
love sharing with them what the Lord
is doing in West Africa, and it is
fellowship with believers - even ones
we meet for the first time. If you
know of anyone who would be
interested in partnering with us (or
just learning more about missions), let
us know or pass our information on to
them!
PRAY with us that the Lord would
continue to increase our financial
support so that next August we will be
able to head to Quebec for our
French study. In the meantime both
Michael and Nancy are trying to go
through the Rosetta Stone French
computer program. Even though this
is not the same as living somewhere
that people speak French, it is a good
program and we hope it gives us a
head-start for next fall.
A LSO , next June we will be
welcoming a new member to our
family! Pray that Nancy and the baby
would be healthy!
