The significance of this memo is what McFadden describes in the amount of materials and case information that had been compiled on the EHM case. Remember the case that Elfo has stated that I wasn't involved with and that had been deferred to the FBI? Yah, that one. So that's where the i drive EHM reports and folders went. Funny how no one would clue me on where they went and were actually asking me where they were.

Aspartoftheorientationprocess,ImetwithPaulandSteveconcerninganorderlytransferofinformationoncasesPaul wascurrentlyworkingthatwouldnowbeassignedtoSteve.Paulhadexpressedaninterestanddesiretocontinue workingontheEHMcaseinvolvingthelocalbailbondscompanies.Itwasoriginallyplannedtotryandaccomplishthis butduetoconflictingscheduleswiththeotheragencyinvolvedwiththiscase,itcouldn'tbedoneinatimelymanner. PaulmetwithmyselfandChiefParksconcerningthelargeamountofdatahehadconcerningthecaseandPaul expressedhisconcernoverthesecurityofthedata.ItwasdecidedatthetimethatPaulwouldturnoverallinfo concerningthecasetoStevewhowouldnowbeassignedastheinvestigator.IfPaulweretobeapproachedwithinfo relatedtotheinvestigation,hewastopassitontoSteveRofformyself.ItwasmadeperfectlyclearthatPaulwastodo nofurtherinvestigationonthecasehimself.TheadministrationalsodecidedthatduetoPaul'sworkandinvestment intothecasetothispoint,effortswouldbemadetoincludehiminthefinalarrestsorconclusionofthecaseifatall possible. IalsodiscussedwithChiefParkstheformathewantedthedatastoredtothispointoftheinvestigation.Allhardcopies weretobegiventoDet.Roffandsecuredbyhim.Theelectronicdatawouldbecopiedtoamediastoragedeviceand securedinthedetectivessafe.
