BILLY GRAHAM'S son, Franklin, is planning a trip

to Cape Town this year for a Gospel Crusadeo

In unity with the

other churches here we are working on the training of a group of counsellors to help in leading those who respond to the Lord. This involves weekly meetings and study on Tuesday evenings.

The city of CAPE TOWN has also made it onto the short list
for the 2004 OLYMPICS.

We have started INTERCESSORY PRAYER MEETINGS in the home of

Mervyn Lee to pray that God's Holy Spirit will move in the hearts of the people of Cape Town, to bring them to the Lord.

This month. Lord willing, I begin teaching at the CHRISTIAN ACADEMY in EDGEMEAD on the subject "ALIVE IN CHRIST," relating

to God's plan of Salvation.

God, in His grace and mercy, has

At GREENHAVEN we have started a weekly study on the book of

REVELATION, using my summary and the book "MORE THAN CONQUERORS"

by William Hendricksen. This week we looked at the Letter to the church in Ephesus, who had lost their first love. We must
remember how we loved Christ in the beginning, repent of the coldness of our hearts now, and return to those first works.

If

we don't, our Lord will remove our light, and plunge us back
into the darkness 1

My son TIMOTHY obviously believes in the old adage

"THIRD TIME LUCKY." Now, for the third time, with a third girl, the announcement has gone out around the world: ++++ "DAD, I'M GONNA GET MARRIED" ++++

In LENTEGEUR we recently had a con)ined meeting with different churches in a school building on Eisleben Road.

I brought a message on the subject "FAITH, HOPE TiND LOVE."

We need to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and commit our lives to him. We need to cling to the glorious hope and blessed assurance that Jesus is coming again. And our hearts must be filled with a deep, abiding love for our
Lord and for one another.

My Bible Summary for Young People - "STRAIGHT TALK

FROM GOD," has now been completed in the New Testament section. Two stiffy computer discs have been made, and

a laser-printed hard copy is being processed.

In

addition the final editing of the Old Testament has been

completed up to II CHRONICLES. This is heavy work, but exciting and rewardingI If God is willing that Martha
and I should make it to the States for Tim's wedding, I

am hoping to deliver the completed work personally to

Ron Beers at Tyndale for his perusal. Please pray that this may be so, and that many years of work may find
their fruition.

Here,' for your own personal perusal, is my summary of

PSALM 22

O MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU LEFT ME?

Why do you not hear my cry?

Day and night I keep on sobbing.

But you give me no reply.
6 I've been scorned by many people, And despised by all mankind.
Those who see me mock and taunt me

And I get no peace of mind. 9 Lord, you've always been my helper You have brought me from the womb.

Like the lions round their prey.

All my bones are out of joint now And my strength has drained away.

They have pierced my hands and feet.

Now they're gambling for my garments.

21 God did not despise my pleading.
When I cried to him, he came.

From the gates of death he takes me. 1 will rise, and praise His namel 26 All who seek the Lord will find Him Praising God who set them free.

God's great work in historyI

This psalm was written 1,000 years before Christ, and

yet it shows deeper insights into the crucifixion of our Lord- that! we find in the gospels themselves! What an amazing proof of God's inspiration of His precious word!
On Tuesday nights, at our home group meetings in EDGEMEAD, we have the privilege and opportunity to encourage each other, and to pray for each other. I can personally testify that many are praying for me, and prophesies have come to me from several people that God is planning something new for me, and that it will relate specifically to my teaching of the book of
REVELATION.

We thank the Lord that Martha's son, Bradley, has come

with us to church.

His faith is strong-

He prays, and he

has read parts of my Bible summary. He works at the duty-free shop at the airport, and is planning to continue his studies
in Marketing.

Martha reminds me that, at 61, I am not as young as I

used to be especially since I went to the gym and injured myself in the groin! The doctor gave me some medication, and
I'm now back to normal or at least as normal as I can be!

We want to take this time to thank Sirley Camp, our

Forwarding Agent, and also each one of you who regularly support us with your prayers and regular monthly gifts You are partners with us in spreading the gospel of our
Lord Jesus Christ here in Cape Town, South Africa. To

you God will give His rewards and rich blessings through His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We are deeply thankful
to you, and to the Lord who has moved in your heart to support us. These are difficult and evil days, when many are growing cold in their faith and love for the Lord. But

they are also days of urgency, excitement, and joy for those
who know that the Lord is coming soon, and that we still have a wonderful opportunity to make a difference to this
old world for his sake.

May the Lord be with you to strengthen and guide you as you continue to seek His will, and work for His

glory:
