Increasing LxlracurricuIar aclivily by one hour causes GIA lo decrease by .O18 Since GIA is measured on a 4.OO scaIe, a change of .O18 is a fairly significant difference. HoIding aII olher faclors equaI, increasing sorls by one hour causes GIA lo increase by .O12 We beIieve sorls has a osilive effecl due lo lhe GIA requirement for varsity players and the team helps orga- nize studying Working has a negalive effecl, increasing vork by one hour decreases GIA by .OO3. This effecl is much Iess sig- nificant. None of our results were statistically significant, a larger sample pool, and a more random sample may lead to stronger conclusions.
