Toni Underhill Poll Anywhere http://www.polleverywhere.

com/ Poll Everywhere allows you to have your students answer a question anonymously The teacher can post a question on the website that they want their students to answer. This will allow the teacher to gain insight on opinions or what their students do or do not know. The student can answer the question anonymously and this gives them a chance to answer the question truthfully. This tool is useful because the teacher can get a good feel of what the students are thinking without having to have any written papers to look over. This tool saves time as it posts the answers in real time and allows you to look at the answers immediately. Kidblog http://kidblog.org/home/ Kidblog is used to allow every student to have their own personal blog. The teacher can use this site as an interactive way to get students writing. This can be used as an online journal. I think this would be a fun way to get students interested in writing. The teacher can also write individual comments on their students' blogs. The students can use this site to post their writings on their own personal blog and receive feedback from their teacher. This Web 2.0 tool is useful because the students and teacher are involved. Instead of students turning in journals every week or so, the teacher can just look online at their blog and can keep up with the students work easier. I think I would use this in my class room all of the time to create a fun lesson that included some sort of writing. Wordle http://www.wordle.net/ Wordle is used to create a word cloud. The teacher can use Wordle to integrate vocabulary words or other literacy components into other subjects. The student can create a word cloud to look at the frequency and usage of words in stories, videos, or speeches.

I like this tool because students can see how different words may be more important or prominent in the text that they are reading. WebQuest http://webquest.org/index.php WebQuest is an interactive website that allows students to go through a lesson in which all of the information can be found online. The teacher may use WebQuest as a way to make the lesson interactive and fun for the students. The student can create a WebQuest as a creative way to create a project and also when they are assigned WebQuest it is a great way for students to learn a lot of information in one lesson. I like WebQuest because the students really become interactive in the lesson. It is a great way to get students thinking while also using the internet. Prezi http://prezi.com/your/ Prezi is a website that is used to create a presentation in a creative way. The teacher can use Prezi to create a PowerPoint in a more interesting and fun way then the usual PowerPoint. The student can use Prezi to create a presentation for their assignment and use their creativity in a way that will keep their classmates interested. I love to use Prezi because the different options it gives you to present the information you want to present is so much more exciting then a boring PowerPoint. I also think it is easier to use then PowerPoint.
