N.Y. Gov. Declares State of Emergency Over H1N1 Flu

29 Oct 2009 Gov. David Paterson declared a state of emergency, saying a recent rise in
swine flu cases has created a "disaster" and that certain provisions of state law needed
to be set aside to get people vaccinated as quickly as possible. The executive order
Thursday means that far more health care professionals -- including dentists, dental
hygienists, podiatrists, pharmacists, midwives and physicians assistants -- will be
permitted to administer swine flu and seasonal flu vaccines with only brief training.

state’s pandemic ventilator allocation plan -- actual guidelines drafted in 2007 that are
now being revisited... Initially, [Utah] hospitals would apply triage rules to residents of
mental institutions, nursing homes, prisons and facilities for the "handicapped." If an
epidemic worsened, the rules would apply to the general population. A version of these
concepts was outlined in a post-9/11 medical journal article that suggested ways to

UKRAINE SHUTS DOWN DUE TO SWINE FLU

Ukraine’s tinhorn dictator, Yulia Tymoshenko, has locked down parts of her country in
response to the spread of the flu virus. Tymoshenko, after all, is an authoritarian mob
boss. “Sometimes I really think that Ukraine needs dictatorship and rule of law. Only a
dictator can maintain the rule of law in Ukraine,” she said not long ago. Bush said the
same when he was the decider."Quarantine was imposed in the country’s nine western
regions due to the epidemic of the H1N1 influenza, commonly known as swine flu"
"Tymoshenko said the government would also be banning “all public gatherings, every
concert and every cinema showing for three weeks.” The government will also introduce
“special regimes” to limit the movement of Ukraine’s citizens from one region to another

October 31: Ukraine (UA): 48 deaths confirmed
Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko says that 48 people have died of flu in the ex-
Soviet nation and tens of thousands have been infected.
He did not specify the type of flu and added that almost 5,000 were hospitalized and
154,200 people were sickened, according to the transcript of his speech on his Web
site.
Ukraine residents emptied pharmacies of masks and flu medicines on Saturday after
the government ordered a three-week closure of schools and cinemas to combat swine
flu. In Lviv in the western region, some pharmacies ran out of flu medicines and masks
on Saturday after worried customers made bulk purchases.

US government report recommends blocking popular websites during pandemic

issued a new report that recommends blocking access to popular websites during a
pandemic outbreak in order to preserve internet bandwidth for investors, day traders
and securities clearing house operations. The concern is that a pandemic would cause
too many people to stay at home and download YouTube videos and porn, hogging all
the internet bandwidth and blocking throughput for investment activities, thereby
causing a stock market meltdown.

This isn't an April Fool's joke. It's all based on a public report issued by the Government
Accounting Office (GAO), available from their website at

In this article, I'm going to explain how a pandemic outbreak could theoretically bring
down Wall Street. But to get to that, you'll first need to find out what the GAO said in its
curious report (see below).

This report in question is entitled, "GAO Report to Congressional Requesters,

INFLUENZA PANDEMIC" and includes this subtitle: Key Securities Market Participants
Are Making Progress, but Agencies Could Do More to Address Potential Internet
Congestion and Encourage Readiness.

In a severe pandemic, governments may close schools, shut down public transportation
systems, and ban public gatherings such as concerts or sporting events. In such
scenarios, many more people than usual may be at home during the day, and Internet
use in residential neighborhoods could increase significantly as a result of people
seeking news, entertainment, or social contact from home computers. Concerns have
been raised that this additional traffic could lead to congestion on the Internet that would
significantly affect businesses in local neighborhoods, such as small doctors' offices or
business employees attempting to telework by connecting to their employers' enterprise

Common Links in Swine Flu Deaths...

Dr. Mercola October 31 2009--A recent study by the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) found that of the 36 children who died from H1N1 from April to
August, six had no chronic health conditions. But all of them had a co-occurring
bacterial infection.The most common co-occurring infection that causes flu-related
deaths is staphylococcus aureus. A third of the population carries it, most in their nose
or on their skin. The flu causes upper respiratory damage, which allows the staph to
make its way into the lungs.

60-Minutes’ Story Also Highlighted Bacterial Infection as Flu Tragedy The issue of
coexisting bacterial infections is one of those questions that need to be looked at more
closely. Their segment followed the story of a young high school football player who
was infected with the H1N1 virus, received some form of medication for his flu
symptoms, and then quickly developed a life-threatening staph infection in his lungs.
However, no questions were asked about what type of medication he received, even
though it was clear that, after recovering slightly, he then quickly deteriorated after
receiving the medication.There was also no mention of whether the teen had already
been vaccinated for seasonal or H1N1 influenza, either recently or in the past years. A
Canadian preliminary study is provocative in that it suggests that those who have gotten
seasonal influenza vaccine in the past may be at greater risk for getting H1N1 and
having complications. Why
Aren’t These Important Questions Being Asked? So far 81 children have died from
H1N1 in the US. The death of any child is tragic. However, using these deaths to
potentially harm countless others who are not naturally at risk may be even worse. Here
are some of the questions that need honest answers, as they may paint an entirely
different picture than what we are currently told by health officials and the media. How
many pediatric deaths occurred in children who:

• Were positively lab confirmed as H1N1?

• Had underlying chronic immune and brain dysfunction?
• Were fully vaccinated according to CDC recommendations?
• Had received influenza vaccine this year?
• Had received seasonal influenza vaccine in previous years?
• Received Tamiflu or another anti-viral prior to death?
• Had a coinciding bacterial infection with H1N1?
• Were never vaccinated - totally unvaccinated?

With only 81 sets of medical records to review, someone ought to be able to compile
these statistics. So far we know that, of the 36 children who died from H1N1 between
April and August of this year, 30 had some form of chronic health condition, and all of
them had a co-occurring bacterial infection.

President Obama and his top health officials are engaging in a major public relations
effort to divert attention away from whether its swine flu vaccine is effective and safe –
to whether there is enough of it to go around. And the media, as always, is cooperating
fully. This echoes the way media debate was manipulated during the Vietnam and Iraq
Wars. Instead of debating whether we should even be fighting those wars, the media
debated only whether we were using the correct military strategy.

Increasing numbers of scientists and doctors are issuing harsh criticisms of the
Government’s plan to vaccinate (forcibly if necessary) virtually the entire U.S. population
with what they claim is a poorly tested vaccine that is not only ineffective against swine
flu, but could cripple and even kill many more people than it helps.

The CDC’s public relations campaign has been running “scare” ads that portray swine
flu as a full-blown “pandemic” responsible for snuffing out countless lives, and which,
unless stopped by universal vaccination, could kill millions of American citizens. But
scientists and health officials throughout the world have called the governments claims
unjustified and deliberately misleading.
