Keys to Installing TVs

his first section will be introducing you to our new system of how to install TVs. This is a fairly easy task, but there can always be complications with installations, and this section will teach you how to deal with them.

How to Install TVs

Installing TVs is probably the easiest thing you do as an employee of Stereo & Video Center. Here are the steps you and your partner will use to install the TVs when you reach the customers house.

Ask the customer if they would like you to take away their old TV. See what all you need to hook up to the TV. (Ex: DVD player, Video
game system, etc.)

Unbox the TV Screw the base of the TV onto the console. Place the TV on the stand Plug the TV in to a surge protector, if possible. Hook up all of the customers multimedia devices to the TV. If the customer is on cable, autoprogram the TV. If the customer is on satellite, set that up as well. Make sure all of the multimedia devices are working. Label all of the inputs so the customer knows which device is on which
input.

Ask the customer if they have any questions. Thank the customer.

Customer Interaction:
Here at Stereo & Video Center, customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance. Therefore, this chapter will teach you how to interact with customers when they come into the store. We get 3 types of customers that come into the store: People looking for TVs, People looking for home stereos, and people looking for car stereos, which we do not have.
How to Interact with Customers Looking for a TV

TV customers are our most common type of customers who come into the store. Here are the steps you should take when talking to these customers. First, say Hi, what can I help you with? If they are looking for a TV, then ask them if they have a certain size in mind. If they do, then show them all of our TVs in their size range. If not, show them our famous 4k TV, the best TV on the market. If this is out of their price range, slowly make your way down in price and size. Explain the difference between LED, LCD, and Plasma TVs to the customers in order to see what best fits what they are looking for. Show the customer any sales we may be having on TVs if they are in the customers size range. When the customer chooses a TV, alert the owner, Larry, of this and he will come price the TV for the customer. Thank the customer and tell them to have a good day

How to Interact with Customers looking for a new Home Stereo System.

Here are the steps you should use when a customer comes in looking for a new home stereo system. First, say Hi, what can I help you with? If they are looking for a new stereo system, show them to where we display the systems and receivers. Ask them if there is a specific brand they are looking for. Turn the volume up on one of our displays in order to show them the amazing sound quality they would be receiving if they decide to purchase one of our systems. Show the customer any sales we may be having on stereo systems if they are in the customers price range. When the customer chooses a system or receiver, alert the owner, Larry, of this and he will come price the item for the customer. Thank the customer and tell them to have a great day.
