To show that I am qualified for the position to work with the students who will be attending the Eastern Illinois University Eastern Music Camp this summer.

Worked with the Front Ensemble as a section leader Played as principal bassoon in the FHC Spartan Wind Ensemble Teacher aid senior year for FHC Spartan Jazz Ensemble Obtain the Instrumental department award my senior year.

Worked with the Middle School Director everyday with the seventh grade woodwinds Was volunteering with the Missouri A+ Program. We needed 50 hours of service and I put in over 80. Helped them with their theory workbooks, rhythm exercises, playing along, and where ever was needed.

Went over at least once a week all of senior year of high school to give lessons to two eight grade bassoonist who were just staring out on the instruments. Worked on scales, range, tone, and reading bass clef.

Boy Scouts of America

2001- 2014

Joined scouts as a Cub Scout in first grader and obtained my arrow of light in March of 2007 where I would then cross over to Boy Scouts. Served as Senior Patrol Leader of my troop from March of 2009 through August of 2009. My responsibilities were to run the meeting, hold leadership meetings, and be the liaison for the troop at official functions. I was the voice for the scouts to the adult leaders in scouts. At the time I was in office, there were 70 scouts ranging from sixth grade through freshman in college. Achieved my Eagle Scout award on February 8 , 2010. For this I had to lead my scouts through the building of a 6 x 5 x 3 cage that would connect to the cage that the school already had for the iguana.

Went to the National Youth Leadership Training camp and spent a week learning and developing skills and tools to apply to any leadership roll.

Sat assistant first chair for the 2011- 2012 season. Sat as principal bassoon for the 2012- 2013 season.

Skills
I have played bassoon for six years. I was honorable mention for the Missouri All- State Honor Band. I was principal bassoonist of the St. Charles County Youth Orchestra. I currently play for the Eastern Symphony Orchestra, Eastern Wind Symphony, and the Terre Haute Sinfonietta Pops Orchestra. I also have some experience in oboe; I played three years in middle school and was apart of the Francis Howell Honor band in eight grade. I have a good handle of Finale because of several summers at the University of MissouriColumbia Composition Camp.
