Matts El Rancho is a Tex-Mex restaurant located at 1904 Skillman St, Dallas,

Texas, 75206. I am a former employee at this restaurant and from my past experience the
company did not do the best job explaining what exactly was required of the job I was
hired for. The service that I am offering is a reconstruction of the new employee manual,
I plan to edit and revise the entire manual, which will help future employees.

I can complete the rough draft by March 26. All of the labor, materials and supplies will
cost about $767.50. However, I will be willing to donate my time to write and prepare the
manual. This will reduce the cost for the revision of the manual to $107.50 for supplies
and materials. If the rough draft is satisfactory, you will receive the final draft on March
31.


Introduction
In this proposal you will see that I am seeking the reorganization of an employee
manual for new employees. The funding request and market analysis of the project are
included in this Proposal. Im seeking the flexibility, guidance and funding of Matt's
Rancho Martinez for growth of business in order to benefit the company in the long run.

Problem Definition
The purpose of this proposal is to identify the problem at hand with the current
new employee manual; Matts is losing money due to poor service given my new
employees. With my proposal, the business would develop a new employee manual,
which has the following specifications and advantages over past new employee manuals
in the business.

The current manual does not make the job description of the new employee clear.

The current manual leaves the new hired employee somewhat confused as to what their job is exactly and
what all is asked of them.

The current manual isnt really helpful to the new employees and doesnt make the hiring process smooth
at all.

Matts Rancho Martinez has a window of opportunity to introduce this new manual and
further expand its business while the same time making the hiring process a lot more
efficient. With the current new employee manual the job description for the jobs hiring
are not clear and are leading to problems in the workspace.

Project Solution

Below are a list of solutions intended on making the manual for new employees more
user friendly and easier to understand.

This manual will detail what is expected of new employees according to their
assigned roles or stations.

This manual will leave no doubt in the new employees mind as to what they job is
exactly and what is all asked of from that new employee.

This manual will make the hiring process a lot easier in the future and be very
helpful for future new employees. When employees are fully aware of their
responsibilities they will be able to decide better what position suits them.


When designing this new employee manual, I am planning to use records and new
employee manuals from other restaurants that are successful in this hiring process, I will
follow the allotted time given and will be able to successfully design a new employee
manual that is far more clear and understandable.

Qualifications
I am a past employee at Matts Rancho Martinez. I worked at this restaurant for a
little more than 5 years in many different positions. I have seen and been a part of many
of the problems experienced by new employees because the job description listed in the
job manuals were not clearly stated. I have worked in at least 4 different aspects of the
restaurant and am fully capable of writing the proposed manual.
