First of all we thanks to Almighty Allah who blessed us with a great power for
this work. We wish to thank our committee members who were more than
generous with their expertise and precious time. A special thanks to MAM Saba
, our supervisor for his countless hours of reflecting, reading, encouraging, and
most of all patience throughout the entire process.
Abstract
The main aim of this project is to provide DC current from AC current. This
project is about electronic devices that work on DC current. The AC to DC
convertor is consists of Transformer, Capacitor, Transistor, LED, and diodes.

Introduction:
This project about convert AC current to DC current. And this convert
220 voltes to 12 voltes and turn on the 12V dc fane.
Achievements:
The achievement of doing this kind of project is to understand the use of
transformer, capacitor and other hardware. Although it is not a latest
thing to do but we will differentiate it from others by adding new
features.
Specification:
Basic equipment that is being used in the project is as follow:
Transformer
Capacitor
Transistor
Silicone Diode
Resistor 47K
LED
Fane
How it operates?
A transformer contains 2 magnetically coupled wire
windings. One winding is called the primary. The primary is driven by the
Purpose/ Achievements
Purpose of this project is to convert Alternate current to Direct current.
How to Work
1. When a user give AC current. 220V convert in 12 voltes with the
use of transformer which is step down transformer. And then then
use of full wave rectifier low current 1.4V then remaining current
store in capacitor. Then current comes to transistor and then with
collector side attached with resistor 47K which is use for on LED
because LED ON low voltage. Low voltages pass through collector
and high current pass through emitter. Positive side attached with
emitter. And fane will turn ON.
CONCLUSION
Alternating current (AC) is used for power line transmission and for
high power devices like appliances and lights. The characteristics of
AC make it ideal for transmission over long lines and for delivering
large amounts of power for relatively unregulated uses, such as
generating heat and light. Lower power appliances and devices
require the closely regulated control of direct current power (DC). As
a normal house is supplied with AC, it must be converted to DC for
many uses. Use these tips to learn how to make an AC DC converter.
