subject hours for penning whatever you read during previous 3 hours, hour for rest or

METHOD OF STUDY: ASK A QUESTION INQUIRE FOR THE ANSWER + REVISION
What you write in exam are those that comes to your mind
What that comes to your mind are those that you remembered
What you remembered are those that are revised frequently

1. Understand the syllabus and question pattern.
2. Digest the topic from a single source (classnotes, textbook, guidebook, magazines).
3. Revision and writing practice.

N.B.- Single source for a particular topic is necessary in order to retain that topic in the long
term memory. Choice of source depends on i) how much of that portion can be vomited after
reading and ii) the time in hand for preparation. One must be able to reproduce all the topic of
the Subject (Paper) from beginning to end without any break. This can be achieve through
repeated revision. Then, prepare for those questions that are found to be complicated and
difficult.

Before starting any topic of GS Prelims Paper I and II, analyse the syllabus and questions of
atleast 2010 & 2011 and understand the topic in a similar fashion by jotting down the probable
questions.
