Trimester 1 2014/15
ECP2036: MICROPROCESSOR SYSTEMS AND INTERFACING

Important Notes

Students are required to adhere strictly the following rules, beside general MMU and FET
rules and regulations. These rules are applied for lecture class, tutorial class, laboratory
session, mid-term test, supplementary mid-term test, assignment and lab report submission.

1) Student must inform lecturer/tutor/lab supervisors within the next day; the immediate
day after his/her absence from any class and laboratory session, and provide valid MC
or official approval from Dean. Student who fails to meet any of these requirements
will not be allowed to have any replacement for test and laboratory experiment, etc.
Any complain/query will not be entertained.
2) All submission deadline must be strictly adhered (latest by 5.00pm of the day),
otherwise will get ZERO mark.
3) Student must not copy other peoples work such as assignment, experiment report,
etc., otherwise all parties involved will get ZERO mark. Any complain/query will
not be entertained.
4) Student must not sign attendance on behalf of others, otherwise disciplinary action
will be taken and student involved will be asked to see Dean of FET.
Student must show their valid student ID during
laboratory experiment, mid-term test, and examination.

No plagiarism
Students are encouraged to study together and to discuss ideas, but
this should not result in students handing in the same or similar
assignment. Do not allow another student to copy your work. While
students may discuss approaches to tackling a problem, care must be
taken to submit individual answers to the problem. Submitting the
same or largely similar answers may constitute misconduct.
