MONDAYEVANGELISTIC PRAYER
Chronological Bible Reading: Nehemi ah 10- 13; Ac t s 1
Monday, June 16
Ac t s 1: 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?
this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye
have seen him go into heaven.
Magnificent Lord and Mighty Redeemer:
Many people celebrate Christs first coming once a year, but I want to
celebrate the promise of your soon return right now. In order to celebrate Lord, I
give you the gift of my life. When you finally arrive I want to be found faithful.
Since you came to suffer for me, let me not hesitate to be a living sacrifice to you.
Rev. 22: 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
My glorious hope is to share your joy as I share in your glory. Today your
true people are in concealment, and many times in humiliation (just like you were
in your earthly ministry). But when you return it will be time for my
manifestation, just as simultaneously it will be time for your revelation.
Dead Christians will live again. The slandered and despised will shine again.
We will be installed as kings and priests. The night of darkness will be over, the
church age will be passed, and the splendor of reigning with you will be total
repayment for all the ages of witnessing and warring, blessing and battling.
Lord, be on the road and travel quickly! The sounds and signs of the times
signal your approach. It is music to my heart. Let me ring the bells of hope in
__________s and __________s life today. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
1 Thes. 4: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
2 Thes . 1: 10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in
all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
TUESDAYFOCUS ON CHRISTS MIRACLES
Chronological Bible Reading: Est her 1- 2; Ac t s 2
Tuesday, June 17
Mark 9: 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him
that believeth.
Heavenly Father:
My unbelief is the greatest hindrance to my progress and to my praying. As
a matter of fact, there is no other real obstacle to my spiritual growth and
prosperity than that. You can do anything, Lord. But you have made it a rule that
it will be with me according to my faith; and so it is. I am ashamed my distrust
and unbelief ties the hands of your omnipotence!
! Make me believe, because I need to scatter the conspiracies of evil seeking
to work against me this week
! Make me believe, because despised truth waits to raise its head and show
itself to others through me
! Make me believe, because then I can bear my load of trouble and pass
through waves of distress with joy for your fellowship
! Let me believe, because the girdle of peace is buckled by the hands of trust
What can I not believe? Is everything possible except believing you? No,
because you are always true, even when the facts and I are false.
I have noticed Lord, when my heart is right then faith takes no effort at all.
It is as natural for me to rely on you as it is for a child to trust his father. The
worst thing is, it seems like I can believe you for every trial except my present
one. Why is that?
Lord, help me shake-off sinful distrust today. I trust you with the load, the
labor, and the longing of the present hour. Once this is done, everything is done.
I ask it not for myself, but for Jesus sake. I ask it in his authority, and so I ask it
using his name. Amen.
WEDNESDAYREVIVAL PRAYING
Chronological Bible Reading: Est her 3- 4; Ac t s 3
Wednesday, June 18
Zec h. 14: 7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor
night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
Glorious God and Heavenly Father:
You work in a way that is so often above my fears, and even beyond my
hopes. So turn now the dark night of doubt in which I live, into bright light
around me. My heart so often prophesies the darkness will deepen into midnight.
Make it not so. Give me your grace to live with higher expectations. Do not let
anything hinder the momentum of your Spirit, or grieve and chase him away!!!
Help me keep others out of despair today as well. You can turn even the
darkness of the shadow of death into morning; so let me trust in you. It is only
after the order for bricks is doubled that Moses shows up to deliver his people. It
is just when tribulation overflows that it is closest to ending.
Let me use this promise to help my patience! The light may not come until
my hope is drained away by waiting all day to no purpose. For the wicked, the
sun goes down while it is yet day, but for the righteous the sun rises when it is
almost night. Help me wait with patience for the light of revival, which shows us
the light of revelation, and makes plain the light of your will, and then remember:
John 9: 4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh,
when no man can work.
Light is always worth waiting for! Give to me, to my pastors, to those in my
church, and our missionaries abroad, enough light to serve you another day. I
know I can thank you and praise you in advance for that, because you have
promised to bless us in a way that surpasses anything nature has seen at her best.
Encourage others as you deliver me from sadness, and do this all to your
own glory and praise. For it is in Jesus name I ask it. Amen.
A DAILY PATTERN FOR PRAYER & BIBLE READING
Chronological Bible Reading: Est her 5- 6; Ac t s 4
Thursday, June 19
Josh. 10: 14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord
hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel.
GOD is fighting for us, God is on our side
He has overcome, yes He has overcome
We will not be shaken, We will not be moved
Jesus You are here

Carrying our burdens, covering our shame
He has overcome, yes He has overcome
We will not be shaken, we will not be moved
Jesus You are here

I will live, I will not die; the resurrection power of Christ
Alive in me and I am free, in Jesus Name
I will live, I will not die; I will declare and lift You high,
Christ revealed and I am healed, in Jesus Name

God is fighting for us, pushing back the darkness
Lighting up the Kingdom that cannot be shaken
In the Name of Jesus, enemys defeated
And we will shout it out

FRIDAY CORPORATE PRAYER MINISTRY
Chronological Bible Reading: Est her 7- 8; Ac t s 5
Friday, June 20
Isa. 30: 15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning
and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength:
Oh Lord, Great and Mighty:
Why are we always worrying and fretting, questioning and mistrusting? We
have a real weakness in that area, for it adds nothing to our planning and it kills
the spirit of revival. We gain nothing by fearing and fuming, nothing except
making ourselves unfit for action. Nothing except unhinging our mind from wise
decisions. Why should we sink because of our struggles, when we could fulfill
Gods eternal purpose by floating on faith and trusting in your providence?
Lord, give us grace to be quiet! Dont let us run from person to person,
repeating the same sad song, which only makes us more heartsick the more we
sing it. Give us this goal: that we will eliminate complaining and so prepare
the way for the Spirit to work in revival. How much time is wasted crying in
agony because of forebodings that never come, and things that never happen,
and bad prospects that are never fulfilled? It is good to have a quiet tongue, and
better to keep a quiet heart.
Ps a. 46: 10 Be still, and know that I am God:
God, give us more grace to be confident in you. Restore our courage, Lord.
You always deliver your own. You cannot run away from a fight if it involves
defending your church and your children. Even if the mountains flee, your
word stands, so you deserve to be confided in! You are our safe place. Help us
display this confidence and its consequent quietness in our lives.
John 13: 23 Now there was leaning on Jesus bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus
loved.
Lord, make us be that disciple today! Help us return to our rest. Amen.
SATURDAYIN THE PSALMS
Chronological Bible Reading: Est her 9- 10; Ac t s 6
Saturday, June 21
Ps a. 32: 8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will
guide thee with mine eye.
Almighty God:
I have to keep an eye on the Lords eye, because that is how he guides me. I
have to have an ear for the Lords voice, because that is how he instructs me.
Lord, be near me this weekend.
" Fill the horizon of my vision " Lead the way of my action
" Supply the themes of my meditation " Let me avoid all vanities of
imagination " Help me overcome all sins of inaction
" Give me all the joys of ministry " Make me exhibit all the virtues of grace
That is what I will have if I indeed set you always before me.
Ps a. 16: 8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I
shall not be moved.
This is the way to live: with you always before my face. Then I have the
sweetest companion, the best example, the most complete consolation, and the
most powerful influence. And thats just what I need.
But it takes a firm resolve: I have set. And it has to be maintained
consistently as a set decision: always before me.
This is the way to be safe. If you are always at the front of my mind, then I
will always feel like you are near. If I acknowledge your presence I will have
your Spirits power. And if I know you are near to help me, then I cannot be
moved by fear, force, fraud or fickleness. If you stand at my right hand then I
know I will always stand!
Thank you Lord, for both upholding me and abiding with me. In Jesus
name I give you the praise! Amen.

HARVEST BAPTIST CHURCH

HOW TO BUILD A BALANCED LIFE

1) TIMEWORSHIP
Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and
departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
GIVE GOD THE FIRST PART OF EVERY DAY. The first commitment is
to a daily quiet time with God. Our weekly Prayer Diary provides a template for daily
devotions.

2) TITHEWORK
1 Cor 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as
God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
GIVE GOD THE FIRST DIME OF EVERY DOLLARno questions
asked. Ten percent is a miniscule amount in our affluent society, but it must come
off the top in order to show that God is our priority. We want the blessing of the
firstfruits (first devotion, first dime and first day) to flow out to the rest of our
resources.

3) TEAMWORD
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
GIVE GOD THE FIRST DAY OF EVERY WEEK. You should fellowship
with a group of believers around the word of God every Sunday in our church.

QUALITY CHRISTIANITY INVOLVES THREE THINGS
! Keeping Christ at the center (your core relationship of worship to God)
! Keeping the body of Christ a priority (your congregational relationship of
walking with us)
! Basing beliefs and actions on the mind of Christ (your church relationship in
the Word)

PRAYER DIARY

# INTERCEDE WITH GOD # INSTRUCT SAINTS
# PROMPT PETITIONS # KICKSTART DEVOTION

INSTRUCTIONS:

Baptists tend to ridicule liturgical churches that use "prepared prayers" because
they lack spontaneity. But for many Baptists, their prayers are so predictable they are
no more spontaneous than written-out prayers. The result is we end up praying the
same things over and over.
This daily Prayer Diary will prompt you on a wide range of prayer requests you
might not normally think of, while forcing you to articulate a deeper devotion to
God. We have included a daily Bible reading schedule. This plan will take you
through the Bible chronologically in a year.
Do not read ahead and do not try to catch up. Use each day as it comes. Then
you can know that on any given day, dozens of other people are lifting their hearts in
the same mind to God. Pray what is written, but use what is prayed as a springboard
for your own relationship with God. You learn to pray by praying.
Alan

Secret prayer is the secret of prayer, the soul of prayer, the seal of prayer, the
strength of prayer. If you do not pray alone you do not pray at all. Our Lord Jesus
Christ would go nowhere till He had prayed. He would attempt nothing till He had
prayed.
Oh, says one, I live in the spirit of prayer, and therefore I do not need times
and seasons for prayer. And do you think that Christ did not live in the spirit of
prayer? Yet He had to have his special time and place to pray. Do not fall under the
injurious notion that because your spirit cries to God in prayer all day long, therefore
there must not be some season for more immediately coming into Gods presence. If
you imagine this, I am afraid that it will prove a snare to your feet. The Lord Jesus
Christ, who knew better than you do that the main thing is the spirit of prayer rather
than the act of prayer, yet Himself retired into desert places to maintain the act and
exercise of prayer. Be spiritual. Be baptized into the spirit of prayer. But do not be
deceived by the enemy, who can steal a spirit away while we dream that we only
spiritualize it. We had better preserve the very bones of prayerthe posture, the
time, placerather than let it all ooze away into an impalpable mental condition.
God keep us prayerful. He will do so if He makes us like His dear Son.
Charles H. Spurgeon, 1834-92
