eu Project meeting in
anakkale / Turkey 6-10 April 2014
When we meet all together in front of Istanbul Atatrk Airport, the bus wait for us to take to
anakkale. A long way begin with a safety bus travel (5 hours).

On the way we make a small stop for lunch and relaxing. The weather was so beautiful and the sun
make us everybody so happy. Begin of the spring was a good chois but these year in winter we had
no rain. And the orange producting around anakkale was so bad. When we arrive to anakkale we
had time to fresh up and then diner in a small local restaurant (Sardunya).
On the first day we began with group discussions in the meeting room of the hotel (Helen Hotel).
After coffe breack Prof. Turke made us a presentation abot Climate change and energy efficiency.
We had the lunch in the restaurant of the hotel with all local and organic meals.


Afternoon begin the city tour and finished under the Trojan Horse.

The presentation was about energy efficiency in agriculture and good practices by the diroctorate of
agriculture. All partners had good questions direct to the director. By the meeting was a GOP farmer
(Cavit Gkkaya) with us.

The diner was in the restaurant of women cooperative and the minister of Chamber of Agricultur in
anakkale, Mr. lhan Ulus was with us.
The second day begun with a guided tour in Troy and then we have seen the organic olive producer
in Glpnar/anakkale. We had a small presentation about organic produce and make organic oil in
the field. The region is very important for organic producing. It is the only one area in all of Turkey
that produced sertificed olive and olive oil. The ancient harbor city Assos and the Olive oil museum
was on the road. We finished the day in a Termal Spa in Gre.


The third day we was on the Galipoli peninsula and the wine yards of Suvla, who made organic wine
and olive oil in a modern fabric. We across the Dardanelles twice a day for these trip and it was a
perfect experience for all partners. During the first war here was a big front and more then 70.000
soldiers from all over the world was dead for these places.

The farewell diner was in tipical restaurant in anakkale with live music.
We are waiting for our last meeting in Potugal and Galicia/Spain to be together.
