Data entry
and cleaning
update
EA reported that data entry for Nigeria had been completed successfully. Only 6 more records are
yet to be received from Nigeria for the data set to be complete. Data preparation and cleaning to
begin for Nigeria this week.

Benin update JA still awaiting comments from Ciprian on the study design which is to be submitted for ethical
approval this week. No changes in the contents expected; maybe changes on the questionnaire
structure.

Cambodia
update
KD noticed some inconsistencies in the data and is working with Sochea to rectify this. Generally
the data looks okay. The Global Fund requested for some data. Sochea still holding about 5
questionnaires. The complete data set to be ready in the week.

Uganda Update Data cleaning ongoing. JN currently working on the provider section. JN: To update on
progress next week
DRC update

Data cleaning ongoing. JA: To update on
progress next week
Madagascar
update
Round two of data collection ongoing as per the schedule. Challenges have been faced in accessing
some areas due to the heavy rains that are currently on. Key informant interview have been
planned for the coming week and will be done by the qualitative research manager. It expected
that interviews will be finished by the time KD is leaving .8 interviews have been planned for
already. They will be conducted in French or Malagasy then later translated to English.
