COMMUNICATING STUDENT LEARNING
British Columbia
Grade 12 Final Term Report
On orders from the Labour Relations Board (LRB)

Student Name: Christie Clark Grade: 12 Div.: 1 Teacher: Eric Langton IEP X
Comments:
Christie always has a smile on her face and maintains a professional demeanor in all situations.
Although, we have concerns about her empathy towards less fortunate students in BC. She takes
good care of her own personal belongings but lacks concern for the belongings of others. There have
been a number of situations where Christie has gotten involved in disputes with teachers and
students; Christie needs to work on actively listening to her peers and attempting to see the problem
from all points of view, not just her own. Christie has been referred to the Child Care Worker for
learning strategies to sustain healthy relationships (although; due to lack of funding she has been
waitlisted for this service and it may be many months before we will be able to offer it to her). She
continues to work towards having strong self-regulation skills as referred to in her IEP (ineffective
communication, behavior issues, etc). I believe that Christie has the ability to be successful at the
post-secondary institution of her choice if she applies the strategies of good study habits and
perseverance. Good luck next year, Christie.
