GIRLS FIRST TEAM
Caroline Krumme, Notre Dame:
The senior finished as Ninth Region
singles runner-up before being
knocked out in the first round of the
state tournament by No. 5 seed
Julian Mok, who eventually reached
the quarterfinals.
Meredith Laskey, Highlands: En-
quirer Player of the Year.
Brooke Warden, Dixie Heights:
The sophomore won the Ninth Re-
gion singles title and advanced to
the round of 16 in the state tourna-
ment.
DOUBLES
Abby Herman/Lexi Herman,
Highlands: Abby, a senior, and
sister Lexi, a sophomore, won the
10th Region doubles title for the
second straight year and then ad-
vanced to the semifinals of the state
tournament, where they lost to the
eventual championship team, 6-4,
6-3.
Abby Roebker/Bess Fley, Notre
Dame: The seniors won the Ninth
Region doubles title and advanced
to the quarterfinals of the state
tournament where they lost to the
eventual runner-up team in a super
tiebreaker, 10-8.
SECOND TEAM
Sydney Hancock: The sophomore
reached the semifinals of the Ninth
Region singles tournament to earn a
berth in the state tournament,
where she lost in the first round.
Sarah Hoffman, Highlands: The
sophomore reached the semifinal
round of the 10th Region singles
tournament to earn a berth in the
state tournament, where she ad-
vanced to the second round.
Audrey North, St. Henry: The soph-
omore reached the semifinals of the
Ninth Region singles tournament to
earn a berth in the state tourna-
ment, where she advanced to the
second round.
DOUBLES
Emma Hughes/Abigail Kennedy,
Notre Dame: The juniors finished
as Ninth Region runners-up and
advanced to the round of 16 at the
state tournament.
Lauren Auteri/Caroline Chris-
tian, Highlands: Auteri, a sopho-
more, and Christian, a senior,
teamed to finish as 10th Region
runners-up and advanced to the
second round of the state tourna-
ment.

Ben Emery, Highlands: The sopho-
more won the 10th Region singles
title for the second straight year
and advanced to the round of 16 in
the state tournament.

C.J. Moellering/Danny Schlach-
ter, Covington Catholic: The sen-
iors won the Ninth Region title and
lost in the first round of the state
tournament.
Jake Haught/Nathan Wichmann,
Covington Catholic: Haught, a
sophomore, and Wichmann, a senior,
finished as Ninth Region runner-up
and lost in the first round at state to
the eventual runner-up.
SECOND TEAM
Anthony Bosch, Covington Catho-
lic: The freshman reached the semi-
finals of the Ninth Region tourna-
ment and advanced to the second
round at state.
Nathan Eberhard, Conner: The
sophomore advanced to the quarter-
finals of the Ninth Region tourna-
ment, where he lost in a super tie-
breaker to Coopers Jake Hon-
schopp.
Jake Honschopp, Cooper: The
senior reached the semifinals of the
Ninth Region tournament, where he
lost to Hussey, and earned a berth in
the state tournament, where he lost
in the first round.
DOUBLES
Casey Garnett/Jacob Eberhard,
Conner: The seniors lost in the
Ninth Region semifinals to Haught
and Wichmann in a super tiebreaker
and advanced to the state tourna-
ment, where they lost in the first
round to a team that advanced to the
quarterfinals.
David Geis/Drake Hudak, Ryle:
The juniors lost in the Ninth Region
semifinals to Moellering and
Schlachter in a super tiebreaker and
advanced to the state tournament,
where they reached the second
round.

Catholic: He guided the Colonels
to their 13
th
straight regional title.

PLAYERS OF THE YEAR
Austin Hussey, Covington Catholic: The junior won his third
straight Ninth Region singles title without losing a single game and then
finished as state runner-up a year after winning the state title. He lost
the championship match 10-8 in the super tiebreaker (first player to 10

10th Region singles title and finished as state runner-up. Laskey beat
