I was born a king, born to rule justly and fairly.

Life had birthed another king, had called forth an


officer of justice. I was going to bring peace, i was going to show the living, that they are alive.
From the moment the snake saw me, it knew it's time was limited. Like many of my brothers and
sisters, sent here in this time for such a purpose, the snake tried to swallow me up. However, I
will not be swallowed.
y sister was bit by the snake, and the poison of this attack seethed in her, making her cringe
this way and that. In her childish ignorance, she spit poison on me, and I became ill. y birth
parents, stung with this poison long ago, and burning with fever, fed me the sickness as well.
!lmost to the point of death, before the "risha found me, struggling for air in the sea of fear and
control which has become our world, I searched for salvation, I searched for my kingdom, for my
family. #leggua saw me and took pity on me, $%o not speak of a beheading in the presence of a
child, for his eyes will always be fi&ed on the neck of the person concerned.$. 'isdom finally
surrounded me, and beckoned me into her loving embrace. $'hen my head is on my shoulders,
my feet in salty waters, and my thoughts e&tend beyond the hori(on, there is no doubt in my mind
that I stand facing the ocean.$. )oolness had come to my fevered head.
any things in this place, and on this planet are not a part of this ocean. any land masses have
seperated from the sea, no longer intermingling with thier sister waters, sands begrudgingly
mi&ing with the saline li*uids that sing a different verse of the same song. +otes to a tune which
desire to become songs unto themselves, only to find themselves muted from the only song,
unable to comprehend singularity as multiplicity, or to see the love our song holds for each note
as itself, as all can see the song is beautiful, and she takes no undue pride in her beauty. Lands
which ask of creation, $,uiet down please, or we shall *uiet you that we may sing.$. $-o have
everything is to lack all.$. I stand facing the ocean and sing to these lands behind me. $'hen two
snakes fight, they embrace each other, /tealing can never be like owning, 0overty cannot sei(e
just one part of a city.$, and i believe the grasses hear me. I believe the trees and shrubs can hear
me. -he birds of the sky and the beasts of the land echo my song, and one morning, the land will
begin to listen. "ne morning, my brothers and sisters will rise from thier generations long
slumber, and ask themselves, $Is this the snake1 Is this the coiled serpent which has enslaved us
for so long1$ 2ou see, the serpents time has come, and it is aware of the shifting of the sands
back into the ocean of creation. -he snake is afraid, but blinded by it's seperation from creation.
$-he one who sets traps in the forest, is doomed to walk around the forest.$
