Welcome to worship!
New Life Lutheran Church exists to equip the faithful in their
walk with the Lord. It also serves as a place and means of grace
for the world. We gather to fulfill the commandment of the Lord
Jesus Christ in Matthew 28 to go, make disciples, baptize,
remember what He has taught us, and together yearn for the day
of salvation when all things will be as He has promised.

SAVE THE DATE:
The NALC is offering a series of seven regional conferences
focusing on renewal in congregations and mission starts in 2014.
The theme of these conferences, "The Missional Church," is based
in Acts 2:42-47. This Scripture passage gives a brief snapshot of
life in the early Church. Each of the large group sessions is based
on key points from this passage. The conferences feature a time of
worship, small group breakout sessions, and large group teaching
sessions presented by the Rev. Dr. Gemechis Buba.

The Midwest Regional Gathering will be hosted by First Lutheran
Church (Manchester, IA) beginning on August 8th at 4:00PM and
concluding on August 9th at 3:30PM. There is no cost for the
conference itself. However, participants are responsible for their
own travel costs, lodging, and some meals.

For registration or more information, please contact Pastor Ken
Kimball, Dean of the Iowa Mission District, at
pastrken@acegroup.cc or 563-535-7698 (church office) or 563-419-
6181 (cell).

PRAYER OF THE DAY:

Almighty God, grant that the affairs of this world may be so
peaceably ordered by your providence, that your church
may joyfully serve you in quiet holiness; through Jesus
Christ, your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
