9th dress in your best cowboy/cowgirl gear and join Jim
Ryan for an afternoon of entertainment. July 10th hop

off the week, join the Lifestyles Team once again as

treats such as chocolate dipped bananas, corn dogs,
cotton candy and more!
We encourage you to wear your western plaid and hats
throughout the week!
Fathers Day Pig Roast & Bean
Bake-off HUGE success
Our first pig roast and bean bake-off was more successful
than we could have ever imagined. With close to 120
people in attendance the Waterside Team with help
from Rob, The Beckwith Butcher, managed to serve 8lbs
of homebaked beans, 60 lbs of pork, 30 lbs of potato
salad and 2 huge Fathers Day cakes. We were blessed to
have the clouds clear in the afternoon for our chainsaw
carver Peter, to dazzle us with his unbelievable talent.
Congratulations to the Tunwell Family for winning the
Judges Choice Award & Sue Dryburgh for winning the
Peoples Choice Award for the bean bake off.

we serve screech in the Pub.
We look forward to everyone participating and
beating the other V!VA Retirement Communities
in this challenge across Canada!
