This document describes the installation of SICAM PAS/PQS V7.00 SP2 on a SICAM Station Unit
V2.00 and V2.10.

2 Preparation

Since SICAM PAS/PQS V7.00 SP2 and later cannot be installed on a SICAM Station Unit
V2.00/V2.10, you must upgrade
the hardware on 4GB CF cards and
the image on SICAM Station Unit V2.20.

To this end you require the upgrade package (MLFB: 6MD9922-0AH10-0AA0)

3 Hardware Upgrade
Proceed as follows to perform the upgrade:

1. Archive your project and back up all important data.

2. Shut down the operating system and switch off the SICAM Station Unit.

3. Replace the CF cards as described in the SICAM Station Unit V2.20 manual,
Chapter 6.3.1, The CF Cards Are Defective.

Note
The BIOS of the SICAM Station Unit does not need to be upgraded!
BIOS-relevant topics/actions described in the manual can therefore be neglected.

4 Installing SICAM PAS/PQS

To install SICAM PAS/PQS V7.00 SP2 or later:

1. Install the SICAM Station Unit V2.20 image. For a description of the procedure, refer
to the SICAM Station Unit V2.20 manual, Chapter 6.2, System Restore.

2. Install SICAM PAS/PQS as described in the SICAM Station Unit V2.20 manual,
Chapter 5.2, Commissioning, and adhere to the notes in this chapter.

3. Enable all required features in the Feature Enabler.

4. Unarchive the project in SICAM PAS/PQS UI Configuration and enable it in
SICAM PAS/PQS UI Operation.

The installation is now complete and you can continue to work with the SICAM Station Unit and
SICAM PAS/PQS as usual.
