achievements in this phase of my life. Express my heartiest thanks to those who

Executive Summary

We had visited Techno Electronics Ltd and Pashupati Laminators and had
concluded data from visits and tried to summarize in this project from primary
research. It emphasizes on the importance of a clear cut organization structure
and culture to avoid any confusion in order to achieve maximum results with
minimum resources.

The project report is aimed to cover maximum knowledge of all aspects of
Organization followed in organization and how the performance is evaluated of
the employees, what primary factors are considered, how data is maintained and
finally the evaluation done.

The practical knowledge has been gained mainly by observing all the activities
taking place in the all Organizational department. This is a brief study done to
have understanding of the subject of Organizations, how it is practically
implemented, why it is necessary, its implications and benefits.

Based in Uttarakhand, Pashupati Polytex Pvt. Ltd. is a Manufacturer, Exporter &
Supplier of Recycled Polyester Staple Fibre, Non-Woven Fabric, Woven Fabrics,
Tarpaulin, PET Flakes and Woven Sacks Bags. The company was established in the
year 2009 with initial investment of Rs. 100 crores and is managed by CMD Mr V. P.
Goenka who is associated with the leading Goenka Group of North India. Group
Companies Pashupati Group of Industries is a leading industrial group engaged in
manufacturing entire range of PP/ HDPE Woven Packaging and Synthetic Textile
Fibres. Within a very short period of time, the group has managed to gain the
confidence of its valued customers and also enjoy a favourable reputation in the
industry. The group is promoted by well-known Goenka Group of North India and
Golyan Group of Nepal, who have diversified interests in Real Estates, Textiles,
Shopping Complexes, Iron Ore Mining as well as other trading businesses.

A sister concern of our organization, M/s. Pashupati Laminators Pvt. Ltd is a large
sized, ISO 9001-2008 certified organization, established in the year 2007 with an
initial investment of Rs.100 crores, engaged in manufacturing of PP/ HDPE Woven
Fabric, Sacks & Tarpaulins, etc. The plant is situated in Kashipur (Uttarakhand),
equipped with state of the art plant and machinery, with installed production capacity
of 25,000,000 sacks per month. The companys manpower strength is about 1100
people at all level which includes, engineers, management graduates, technicians,
experienced and skilled/semi- skilled workers, etc. The company also received Best
Supplier Award in the year 2009-10 from Tata Chemicals Ltd. The company recently
achieved a turnover of 160 crores.

Our esteemed clients belong to varied industries like Textile (spinning, carpet, toys,
Geo-textile, etc.) and Packaging, Cement, Agro, etc. We follow a customer centric
approach in all our dealings and our best efforts are directed towards achieving total

Infrastructure

A most modern and state of the art, medium sized factory spread in 20500 sq. meters
size is equipped with latest automatic Chinese line. A few important factors about the
infrastructure can be pointed out as under: Latest plant and machinery with installed
production capacity to produce 2000 tons per month. A complete in-house set up to
transfer waste into fiber and non woven sheets through automatic recycling process, as
per buyers requirements. A fully integrated manufacturing process managed and
controlled by companys own engineers and technicians. Fully equipped with power
back up system to ensure uninterrupted power supply for completing and meeting large
production schedules within the specified time. Strong and efficient work-force of about
300 skilled and semi-skilled technicians, managed and supervised by engineers and
managerial professionals. Strong quality control and R&D division performing quality
checks at all stages during the entire manufacturing process to ensure 100% flawless
working and quality. Complete range of Solid and Hollow Fiber ranging from 1.4 Dn.
To 15 Dn., in all cut lengths, both in siliconized and non-siliconized grades.

I. TECHNO (VIDEOCON) INDUSTRIES LTD.

History
Videocon is an Indian multinational with interests in Consumer Electronics, Home
Appliances, Colour Picture Tube Glass, and Oil &Gas. Videocon was founded in 1987
by Nandlal Madhavlal Dhoot. At that time it used to manufacture TV and Washing
Machine. In 1989-90, Videocon started manufacturing Home Entertainment Systems,
Electric Motors & AC. Videocon entered Refrigerators and coolers segment in 1991.
In 1995, Videocon started manufacturing Glass shells for CRT and in 1996 it ventured
into Kitchen appliances and crude oil segment. In 1998, Videocon started
manufacturing Compressors & Compressor Motors. In the year 2000, Videocon took
over Philips Colour TV Plant. In 2005, Videocon took over 3 plants of Electrolux India
and acquired Thomson CPT. Today; it has evolved into a giant conglomerate with
annual revenues of over U$4.1 billion.

Business Interests of Videocon
Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances: Videocon enjoys leadership position in
consumer products like Colour Televisions, Washing Machines, Air Conditioners,
Refrigerators, Microwave ovens and numerous other home appliances. Videocon's
refrigerator manufacturing enjoys synergy with its in-house compressor manufacturing
technology in Bangalore. Display industry and its components: After the acquisition of
Thomson in 2005, Videocon has emerged as one of the largest Colour Picture tube
manufacturers in the world. It has plants in Mexico, Italy, Poland and China and
manufactures a range of high-tech products such as slim CPT, extra slim CPT and
High Definition 16:9 format CPT. Colour Picture Tube Glass: Videocon is one of the
largest CPT Glass manufacturers in the world. It has plants in Poland and India.
Videocon's Ravva oil field has one of the lowest operating costs in the world and it
produces 50, 000 barrels of oil per day. Videocon is also actively looking for
exploration and production opportunities in countries like Oman, Australia and the
Timor Sea near Indonesia.

III. JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK

Jim Corbett National Park is located in the foothills of Himalaya in the closest
proximity of Ramnagar a small Town. Corbett National Park is the oldest national park
of India, Situated in Nainital district of Uttarakhand State. Corbett National Park is one
of the most preferred Tiger Reserve of wild-lifers in India.

Altitude: 385-1100M above MSL.
Rainfall: 1400mm-2800mm
Temperature: 4 degrees C to 42 degrees C

Corbett Tiger Reserve today holds probably the second largest population of free
living tigers in the world. The reserve is thus one of the last remaining strong holds,
which holds a potentially viable population of this majestic and critically endangered
field. Nearly 600 Asian elephants (Elephas maximums) also have a home in Corbett
tiger reserve, and can be seen wondering leisurely along its length and breadth.

Corbett National Park, along with the Raja Ji National Park also represents the North-
western most limits of Tiger and Elephant Distribution in the Indian subcontinent. Jim
Corbett National Park is also home of about 600 species of resident and migratory
birds. This amazingly rich avifaunal diversity represents nearly 6% of the total birds
species represented in the world and is more than the total bird diversity of Europe.
The 49 species of diurnal raptors found here are characteristic elements of this
avifauna. The avifaunal diversity is at its peak during winters in Jim Corbett National
Park India.

History

Jim Corbett National Park (the first National Park of India) was established in 1936.
Name of park in 1936 was Hailey National Park named in the honor of Sir Hailey, the
governor of united provinces. After independence the name of Corbett National Park
was changed to Ramganga National Park in 1952. Name of Corbett National Park was
finally changed to Jim Corbett National Park in 1957 named after the legendary hunter,
naturalist-turned-author and photographer 'Edward James Corbett'.



Jim Corbett had helped in setting up the park and demarcating its boundaries. Corbett
National Park is India's first national park and the first sanctuary to come under Project
tiger in 1973 with the help of World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The area of Jim Corbett
National Park was increased in 1991 when the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary was added
to the park.

Climate

The weather in Jim Corbett National Park is temperate compared to most other
protected areas of India. The winter season in Corbett National Park lasts from
November to February. The temperature may vary from 5 degree Celsius to 30 degree
Celsius and some mornings are foggy. The summer season in Jim Corbett National
Park lasts from March to June. The weather in Jim Corbett National Park is temperate

Royal Bengal Tiger (although Copious) are not easily spotted due to exuberance of
camouflage of thick jungle in the Corbett Tiger reserve. Dense forest, Ramganga and
Kosi rivers with copious prey make Corbett tiger Reserve an ideal habitat for Tiger.
Tigers in Jim Corbett National Park also known to kill much bigger animals as Blue
Bull (neel gai) or buffalo and even sometimes elephant for food but it happens in a rare
case of food shortage. The most used pray of tiger are four kind of Deer (Spotted Deer,
Sambar Deer,Barking Deer and Hog Deer), Wild Boar and some lesser known animals.
Jim Corbett National Park has enormous wild boars,weighing up to 80 Kgs, who
provide a match for the tiger as a enormous male wild boar is competent of killing a
tiger. Apart from Tigers, Elephant, Leopard/Panthers, Leopard Cats,Jungle Cats,
Fishing Cats, Himalayan Black Bears, Sloth Bears, Martens, Jackals, Dholes, Civets,
Mongooses, Hares, Otters, Porcupines, Four kind of Deers, Wild Boars, Pangolins,
Macaques, Langurs, Blue Bulls (Nilgai) are some other species which are found in
Corbett tiger reserve India.

Leopards the next Predator after Tiger are encounter in hilly or hill touched areas of
Corbett National Park India. In summers, Elephants are seen in large tuft of several
hundred near the Ramganga River. Python is also a remarkable species found in
Corbett Tiger Reserve India which is capable to kill a Spotted Deer. Along the
Ramganga River shores of Jim Corbett National Park, you can spot the long-snout
head fish eating Ghariyal crocodile and the 'Mugger' crocodile. Langur and Rhesus
Monkeys are well distributed throughout the jungle and the whole park chime with
their alarm calls every time a predator is around. Owls and Night jars can be harking
during Night in Jim Corbett National Park. A rich diorama of colors exuberant the
jungle of Jim Corbett National Park in the form of its sundry colorful species of birds.
Corbett Tiger Reserve India is also home to Daters, Herons, Lapwings, Cormorant,
Paradise Flycatchers, Manias, Weaver birds, Fishing eagles, Spotted Eagles, Serpent
Eagles, Black throat-ed Payas, Jungle Fowl, Mynas, Vultures, Thrushes, Peacocks, Bar
bets, Peahens, Migrant Gulls, Kingfishers, Ducks, Moorhens, Sandpipers, Geese,
Night jars, Woodpeckers, Cuckoos, Wagtails, Drongos, Black winged Kits, Doves,
Plovers, Black Nacked Storks, Parakeets, Owls, Chir Pheasants, Kalij Pheasants, Grey
Lags Snipes, Grebes, Harriers, Ospreys, Babblers, Mini vets, Horn bills and Stone
Curlews etc.

Safari Adventure

Jeep Safari, Elephant Safari, Horse Safari, Bird Safari, Fishing Safari, Trek & Camp
and Nature Walk - all you can enjoy during your visit to Corbett National Park India.
Although jeeps cover more area in the Jungle than elephant, it can't get nigh as close
the wild animals.

Accompanied by mahout and Guide, Elephant Ride is sure to be informative. On other
hand one can enjoy Flying Fox, River Crossing, Rope stunts, Repelling, Rock
Climbing, and Bridge fall etc. adventure activities under the guidance of expert
adventurists in Corbett National Park. For all above it needs a permit from Jim Corbett
National park administration center at Ramnagar.
