1 OBJECTIVE OF THIS DOCUMENT

This document provides details of installing SAP Gui 7.10 Update on a client machine. A full guide is required
below, including every single screen shot of the installation of this application. This can only be done once the
installations of all the pre-requisites are done.

2 Document Conventions
In this document the following conventions will be used:

XXX represents the abbreviated name of the region

region represents the full name of the region
XXXXS represents the first five characters of the name of the server
MACHINE_NAME represents the Computer Name of the client machine

6 SAP Business Explorer 7.10 Patch Patchlevel 1100 Installation

Execute bi710sp11_1100-10004472.exe from the SAP Business Explorer 7.10 Patch Patchlevel 1100
folder, click Next to continue.

Create new shortcut called Analyzer 7 for SAB in the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start
Menu\Programs\Business Explorer folder.
o Shortcut must Execute: C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAP Shared\BW\BExAnalyzer.xla
o Ensure Icon is set to the same as the file: C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAP
Shared\BW\BExAnalyzer.xla
o Shortcut needs to have Read\Execute rights for all users that logon to the machine.

Execute bw350gui710_8-10004473.exe from the SAP Business Explorer 3.50 Add-On Patch for SAP Gui
7.10 folder, click Next to continue.
