The CT Se ries Car tridge Fil ter Hous ings are three-piece,

all-metal hous ings with ring-nut clo sures. These hous -

ings are de signed to meet gen eral in dus trial fil tra tion
needs. The CT Mod els of fer you a choice in con struc tion
ma te ri als for wet ted sur faces and are avail able with a
316 stain less steel head with 304 stain less steel sump or
in all-316 stain less steel in one-high (CT101), two-high
(CT102), or three-high (CT103) de signs. Ring nuts for
head to sump seal ing are nickel plated brass to elim i nate
po ten tial thread gall ing. A ring nut tight en ing tool is in -
cluded. All CT Model heads have tapped mount ing
pads; mount ing brack ets are avail able as an ac ces sory.
The CT Mod els have liq uid flow rates of up to 26 GPM,
and a max i mum op er at ing pres sure and tem per a ture of
300 psig at 200oF. For air and gas ser vice, CT Mod els
have a max i mum op er at ing pres sure and tem per a ture of
180 psig at 200oF.

CAR TRIDGE RE QUIRE MENTS
The CT101, 102 and 103 Se ries Car tridge Fil ter Hous ings
can use one, two, or three 9 equiv a lent sin gle-length fil -
ter car tridges, re spec tively. The CT102 and 103 Models
can also use one 19 fil ter car tridge and one 29 fil ter
car tridge, re spec tively. A shorter ver sion of the CT101,
that uses a 5 dou ble open end car tridge, is also avail able.

FLOW RATES
Ta ble 2 lists the maxi mum rec om mended flow rates in
Gal lons Per Min ute (GPM) for the CT101 and 102 Mod els.
Use the data on Ta ble 2 only as a guide in es tab lish ing
hous ing flow ca pa bil ity; do not use it for fil ter siz ing. Once
you know the flow rate for a se lected car tridge, then use
Ta ble 2 to check whether the hous ing's flow rates fall
within the rec om mended guide lines.
When se lect ing a fil ter's size, make sure you con sider the
amount of con tam i nant you want re moved as well as the
flow re quire ments; this en sures the lon gest pos si ble car -
tridge life.
