SETTING-the time and location in which story takes place is called SETTING.
Place-Geographical location where is the action of the story taking place.
Time-when is the story taking place.
Wheather Condition-If it is rainy,sunny,stormy,cloudy and etc.
Social Conditions-What is daily characters like? Does the story contain
local color?
Mood or Atmosphere-What feeling is created at the beginning of the story
? It is bright and cheerful or dark and frightening?

PLOT-is how the author arranges events to develop his basic idea,it is the
sequence of events in a story or play.
Introduction-The beginning of a story where the characters and the
setting is revealed.
Rising Action-This is were the events in the story become complicated and
the conflict in the story is revealed (events between the introduction and
the climax)
Climax-This is the highest point of interest and the turning point of the
story.
Falling Intonation-The events and the complicated begin to revolve
themselves.

What is Conflict?
Conflict-is an essential without conflict there is not plot.It is the opposition of
forces which ties are in incident to author and makes the plot more.
External-A struggle with a force outside ones self.
Internal-A struggle within ones self: a person must make some decision
overcome paid,quite their temper,resist and urge and etc.

What are the four kinds of Conflict?
1.man vs. man (physical)
The leading character
2.man vs. circumstances (classical)
3.man vs. society
4.man vs. himself/herself (physogical)

CHARACTER:There are two meanings of character
1.PROTAGONIST-which is the main character of the story.
2.ANTAGONIST-which is the opposite of the main character

Person in work of friction-antogonist short stories use few character one
character is clearly central to the story with all major events having some
importance to this

The characters of a person in order for a story to seem real to the teacher
its character must seem real:
A.His/her physical appearance
B.What he/she says,thinks,feeds dream
C.What he/she does or does not do
D.What center says about him/her and have they react to him/her


POINT OF VIEW

Point of view or P.O.V is defined as the angle form which the story is told:

1.INNNOCENT EYE-The story is told judgement being different from that
of an adult.
2.STREAM OF CONCIOUSNESS-The story told so that the reader feel as
if they are in side.
The head of one character and know all their thoughts and reaction.
3.FIRST PERSON-The story is told by the antagonist or one of the
character interacts closely with the protagonist or one of the other
characters(using pronouns I,ME,WE,etc.)
The readers it and only knows what he/she knows or fell.
4.OMNISCIENT-The author can narrate the story using the omniscient
point of view. He can move from the character to character event to
event,having free access to the thoughts,feeling and motivations of his
characters and he introduces information where and when chooses.
A.OMNISCIENT LIMITED-The author tells the story in third person
(using pronouns,they,she he, it, etc.)
B.OMNISCIENT OBJECTIVE-The author tells the story in third person
THEME-The theme in a piece of friction it is entering idea or its central in
sight.
