The Mirror-

When we look into the mirror we see an exact
expression reflected back at us. We may
thoroughly enjoy that reflection or we think
its not all that. You may have seen some of
those funny mirrors at the fair or theme park
where the mirror has the ability to distort our
image, making us taller than we really are or
shorter than we really are.

When you gaze into the mirror what do you
see? Are you content with what you see
staring back at you? What if we ask this same
question and we exchange a regular mirror for
a spiritual mirror? What would the spiritual
mirror reflect of you? What areas would we
need to work in or on?

Ironically enough the spiritual mirror is that
we all fall short of the glory of God and we
need a transformation. The Apostle Paul was
one of those guys who thought, Im ok, me
and God, we are like peas and carrots.
However we know the story and we also
know that God came along and transformed
him and called him to go to the nations!

Pauls transformation, much like our
transformation, involved dying to sin, self,
and society.

My prayer is for the Lord to transform all of
us as we seek Him to serve Him and the
world around us!
