Your Task:

Using the My Profile template on www.prezi.com, create a Facebook profile for either James or
Ruth (pretend she is still alive).


Requirements: Your profile must include the following 8 categories:
1. Lives in
2. Work Experience
Provide at least TWO examples of jobs your character has held
3. Education
4. Photos
Provide a default profile picture and at least SIX images in the Photo category
Search online for imagessearch terms to consider are: The Color of Water, Ruth
McBride, Ruth McBride Jordan, James McBride, James McBride family
(You are not limited to only these search terms)
5. Interests
Provide at least FOUR different interests of your character
Each interest must include at least two original sentences of explanation and one
concrete detail from the text (remember to cite your quotations!)
6. Status Update
Provide at least FOUR status updates that reference different specific moments from the text
Each update must include a date (you can make it up as long as the year makes sense), at
least one original sentence, one concrete detail, and at least one (creative) hashtag
7. Shared a Link
Do some searching online to find a video, article, image, or some other form of media
that would interest your character enough that he/she would want to share it online
Provide a caption that explains your connection to and interest in the media you have shared
8. Shared a Photo
Your shared photo can be one of the photos displayed in the Photo category
Provide a caption that explains the photos significance to you
