DESCRIPTION
Hydrels Paradox Series sealed modular in-grade
luminaires are multi-purpose units designed for up
lighting architectural and landscape features. These
units can be ush mounted into a variety of substrates
including concrete or tile, or landscape materials, and
are ideal when aperture size or luminaire depth is a
priority.

DOOR MATERIAL: Die cast bronze or stainless steel.
HOUSING: Compression molded polyester with patent pending internal direct access junction
box for through-branch wiring. Internal junction box provides 44in

volume to ensure proper seal
during installation. The housing is U.V. stabilized, impact and corrosion resistant for use in all
types of environments. The housing has a side-car conguration and houses the lamp and power
module components as well as the lens/ door nishing section.

Incandescent: PAR20, PAR30, medium base

REFLECTORS: (Non-reectorized lamps): High purity anodized specular or semi-
specular materials in various distributions provide maximum performance and uniformity.
Lamps can be aimed 15 from vertical and rotated 360. All congurations available with
Hydrels patented Aim-Lock indexed and locking components to allow re-lamping and
maintenance without re-aiming.
LENS/SEAL: Tempered clear at borosilicate glass. The patent pending door / lens seal
uses proprietary knife edge technology to secure the assembly to the housing. Three
captive screws hold the assembly in place. The lens is notched to provide maximum
aperture opening.
CONDUIT ENTRIES: Two molded NPT side entries standard, bottom hubs are molded
with a NPT membrane knockout.
ACCESSORIES: Decorative rock-guard, internal glare control, anti-slip lenses, and color
lter options available. See ordering guide for complete list of accessories.
BALLAST: Integrally mounted ballast, encapsulated in heat-dissipating epoxy resin,
prewired for easy installation and maintenance. Ballasts starting temperature is -30.
FINISH: Natural bronze or stainless steel with a brushed nish.
