Helping women and

children of the Congo

African Victims Christian Relief Fund
is a non-profit created to provide assistance to
women and children who have been abused by
rebel soldiers in the war between Rwanda and the
Democratic Republic of Congo.
Abuse, rape and the tranmission of HIV
dehumanize children as young as five and women as
old as 82. They become outcasts in the society.
Traumatized and infected they wander around the
villages without proper medical treatment, food
or shelter.

astern Congo has been ravaged
by war for two decades. Millions
have died and are still dying. Most of
these victims are women and
children, brutally gang-raped and sodomized to the
cheers of rebels as their parents and family can only
watch in horror.
International communities and governments are
doing very little to prevent these abuses or provide
medical and psychological help. We, the AFRICAN
VICTIMS CHRISTIAN RELIEF FUND are filling a
void by providing much needed relief.
Our Beginning
Blaise B. Lolika is
co-founder and manager of
African Victims Christian
Relief Fund. He was born in
the Democratic Republic of
Congo, Africa in the town
of Yangambi.
He is married and father
to seven children. He studied
medicine in Africa and graduated to become a physicians
assistant. In the beginning of the war Blaise and his family
fled to the border of Uganda and settled in the city of
Kampala. It was from there that his family was selected by
an NGO agency to migrate to Tucson, Arizona in the US.
Blaise furthered his education in the medical field and
has worked for Kino Hospital, Tucson Medical Center and
The University of Arizonas Health Networks.
As the war in eastern congo intensified he read news,
watched videos and received first-hand reports from friends
and family. News of continued abuses fueled his decision
to take an early retirement and advocate for the victims in
Africa. A born again Christian and believing in helping
the needy, he personally contributes 25% of his monthly
salary and spends time lobbying for additional supplies
and resources to help the victims in Kivu, DRC, Africa.
Our Vision
Based on our belief of helping others, we are driven to
develop a medical facility, a rehabilitation center and an
orphanage that will help restore the health and well being
of these innocent women and children.
Cruelty is all these victims know and have seen. By
providing them with love and help, we can restore their
trust in mankind helping them to experience happiness
and enjoy life.
Our Story
While the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the
province of Kivu in particular have many humanitarian
assistance needs. We have chosen to help abused women
and children who are so traumatized that even in their
sleep they suffer from these atrocities. They suffer
physically and mentally every day for lack of support,
medical supplies and food to eat.
Much needed medicine and supplies bound for Goma, RDC.
Our Project
We are in the process of revamping a medical and
rehabilitation center that will accommodate children
between the ages of 5 to 17, as well as facilities for older
women. 97% of our revenue is dedicated to program
development.
BLAISE B. LOLIKA
2 children, one is 9 years and the other 5 years old have
been raped and sodomized and released in the street.
Their parents were murdered in front of them.
A young girl of 14, who was
raped, now 4 months pregnant
and infected with HIV.
