(p179)Question 107: How do we fight against the Ego?

Answer: Fighting the Ego has two Sides; the First: is inside this Bodily world, and the Second: is inside
the Kingdom and Spiritual world, so the human is composed of a body and a spirit (or a soul and it is
the speaking (tongue) implanted in the Heavens within the lowest arrangements of the spirit).

=> As for fighting the Ego inside this Bodily world then it is done by the practise of noble morals, and
the most important is generosity, the Al-mighty said: {..and give them (emigrants) preference over
themselves, even though they were in need of that..}[1], and upon the believer is to spend in the
Way of Allah onto the needy and the poor and onto the Jihadists, and to provide for them the
necessary preparation to fight the enemy of Allah, and the best of generosity is not upon the
deficient (believer) or the one who lacks (possessions) in his hand, {..and give them (emigrants)
preference over themselves, even though they were in need of that..}. In the same way that (a duty)
upon the believer is to hate taking advantage over another believer or (establishing) centres of
leadership (to take advantage), this Hadith was narrated from Messenger (pbuhaf) to that effect:
(Whoever takes advantage over a believing nations welfare/wealth and he is aware that there are
people inside like himself (believers) then Allah will overturn him onto his nostrils in the
Hellfire.)(*2+), and this much is enough and I will leave the research and the elaboration to the
believers.

=> As for fighting the Ego inside the Spiritual world then it is done by contemplating and thinking,
the Messenger of Allah (pbuhaf) said this to Ali (pbuh) to that effect: (O Ali, an hour of thinking is
better than worshipping for a thousand years.).

O my believing brother, come with me so we can ponder in our shameful circumstance in the hands
of Allah the Glorified and Al-mighty, let one of us be one of them, suppose that you are one of the
313, and suppose you are one of the 12 leaders from them, and they are the finest of everyone in
Earth, the Prince of the Believers (pbuh) said this about them to that effect: (May my father and my
mother be sacrificed for those few whose names are well-known in the sky and not known on the
earth)(*3+), and they (pbut) said about them: (The Earth becomes proud when they are walking
on it.)(*4+), and Al-Sadiq (pbuh) cried more than 1000 years ago because of the ignorance towards
them, and prayed to them and said this to that effect: (O Lord, if you want worship inside Your
Earth then do not allow Your enemy authority over them.), and Al-Sadiq (pbuh) said this to that
effect: (They would not be like this if it were not for the fact that they were created from the light
that Muhammad (pbuhaf) was created from and Muhammad (pbuhaf) was created from mud.)(*5+).

So contemplate their merits with the entire mankind and with the entire Shia of Ahlulbayt (pbut), so
the Shia are created from their light and from their (pbut) righteous mud, and these are the sincere
Shia that are the companions of the Qaim (pbuh) created from the light that Muhammad (pbuhaf)
was created from, and Muhammad (pbuhaf) was created from mud, and with this great merit and
elevated rank and with (the fact that) they are from the close ones and from the guardians of Allah
that dont have fear over them nor will they grieve, however come with me towards the
presentation of the Day of Judgment to see their circumstance or rather the circumstance of the
entire creation except Muhammad (pbuhaf), then if Judgment arises no one will challenge the word
in the hands of Allah until Muhammad prostrates and until Muhammad praises Allah and until
Muhammad (pbuhaf) speaks and intercedes for the creation of Allah and His servants, so why is it
that no one would prostrate nor praise nor speak in that situation unless after Muhammad (pbuhaf)
prostrates and praises and speaks?

Isnt the shortage with the (entire) creation except Muhammad (pbuhaf)?? Or are the oppressors
who are present inside the court of Allah the Glorified the Al-mighty for this (situation) more
superior and great and tremendous??

My dear brother:

The Prince of the Believers (pbuh) who is the best of creation after Muhammad (pbuhaf) said: (My
Lord I have been unjust to my soul for I have not looked after it, it will certainly be doomed if You do
not forgive it.)(*6+)

And if you contemplated upon my previous statements then you would understand that the
Commander of the Faithful (pbuh) meant everything that he said in all the statements meaning, so
then what is the situation for us??

And this is the truth that I am telling you: That it is very important for mankind to be with a rank that
is elevated and honoured and reputed in the hands of Allah the Glorified and Al-mighty, so upon him
(mankind) is to bite on his finger in repentance and regret upon the small (amount of) modesty
towards Allah the Glorified the Al-mighty the most Merciful the extremely Merciful the Patient the
Generous, and to repeat these words: O my grief from what I have neglected in the side of Allah
(and I shall grieve) till the Day of Judgment arises, and praise is due to Allah only.

Muhammad ibn Abd al-Khaliq and abu Basir who has said the following: Abu Abdullah (pbuh) said:
O abu Muhammad, with us there is a secret of the secrets of Allah and a knowledge of the
knowledge of Allah. No angel, near to Allah or a prophet who is a messenger also and no believer
whose heart Allah has tested for faith is capable to bear. By Allah, Allah has not required anyone to
bear it except us nor has He required anyone to worship him in that way except us. With us there is
a secret of the secrets of Allah and a knowledge of the knowledge of Allah. Allah has commanded us
to preach it We then preached what Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious, had commanded
us to preach. However, we did not find a proper place for it or a people or bearers who accept it
until Allah created certain tribes. These people were created from the clay out of which Muhammad
and his descendants were created and from a light from which Allah had created Muhammad and
his descendants. He made them with the excess of the making of His blessings out of which He had
made Muhammad and his descendants. We then preached what Allah had commanded us to preach
then these people accepted and acknowledged that. [It reached them from us and they accepted
and acknowledged it]. Our mention reached them and their hearts inclined towards us, recognizing
us and our hadith. Had they not been created from this they would not have been as such. No, by
Allah, they would not have acknowledged."
Then the Imam (a.s.) said, "Allah created certain tribes for Hell and fire. He then commanded us to
preach to them as we had preached to them but to the later ones it seemed repugnant and their
hearts felt hatred and they rejected it from us, did not acknowledge it and considered it as lies and
they said, "They are magicians and liars." Allah then placed a seal on their hearts and made them to
forget. Allah then opened their tongue with some of the truth. Thus, they speak of it but their hearts
are in denial. He uses it in defense of His friends and those who obey Him. Had it not been there no
one would have worshipped Allah on earth. He commanded us to withheld it from them, hide and
conceal. You must also hide it from those that Allah has commanded to withheld from and hide from
those that Allah has commanded to hide and withheld from." The narrator has said that the Imam
(a.s.) then raised his hands and wept and said, "O Lord, this is a very small group. Make our lives as
their lives and our death like their death. Do not make dominant over them any of Your enemies
that would cause us suffer pains for their suffering. If You would allow it to cause pains to us because
of
their sufferings no one would worship You on earth. May Allah send blessing up on Muhammad and
his Ahl al-Bayt and may (Your) peace and more peace be with them.")

(p181)Question 108: What is the meaning of the Al-mightys saying: ,Hath there come upon man
(ever) any period of time in which he was a thing unremembered?}[1]?

Answer: Man is Ali (pbuh), and there has not come a period of time that he (pbuh) is not
remembered, because he is remembered in the knowledge of Allah the Glorified the Al-mighty, as
for within the creation then there came a period of time that there was not a thing from him (pbuh)
remembered, because Allah (swt) created Muhammad (pbuhaf) then He (swt) created Ali (pbuh).

====================================================================
(This question below explains what is in Q106: eye of needle that started to throb)
Question 109) What is meant by the verse: - {By the declining day,* Lo! man is a state of loss,} {Al-
asr: 1-2}

Answer) Commander of the Faithful Ali (AS) is the man and he is at loss compared with
Mohammad (PBUH). As the rank of the Prophet (PBUH) is higher and greater than the rank of Imam
Ali (AS). Thus the Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) is the city of Divine Perfection in creation or the
city of knowledge; and Ali (AS) is the door.

The Prophet (PBUH) is the possessor of the praised rank; and the possessor of the rank of two
bows' length or even nearer; and he is the one that something like an eye of a needle has been
opened for him and started to throb between the Truth and the Creation.

While the Commander of the Faithful (AS) is below this rank; and he said: (if the cover is revealed to
me; I wouldnt have become more certain) i.e. the cover and the veil of the Divine that has been
revealed to Muhammad (PBUH).

Question) In (Mutashbihat) in the interpretation of Surat Al-Asr, you said: that man is Ali bin Abi
Talib (AS), which he is at loss compared with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). But how does He
exclude those who believe; and that makes them better than Ali (AS) according to what you
clarified?!

Answer)
In the name of God the Most Merciful, the Most Graceful;
All Praise is to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds;
O Lord, may Your prayers be upon Muhammad and his progeny, The Imams and Mahdies.

The entire Qur'an is in the Fatiha; and the Fatiha is in the Basmalah; and the Basmalah is in the Ba
( ); and the Ba is in the dot. (The Ba refers to the arabic alphabet ( ) that has the form of a bowl
and a dot under it). I.e. the more we rise in rank to Allah (swt); the more the details in The Koran
lessen. Because of the littleness in the parts and contradictors whenever the Kingdom Worlds rise in
rank; until it reaches to the Light and Entirety: where the Quran is an entire Light.

And what I clarified for the Surat (Al-Asr): is in a high rank of the Koran, where there is none other
than Muhammad, Ali and Fatima (AS) ( and Ali and Fatima (AS) are one light). Thus there is no one
else except them.

So the entire Sura in that world is: {By the declining day,* Lo! man is a state of loss,} {Al- asr: 1-2}.
This is Surat Al-Asr in that Upper World. So the rest of the Sura doesnt exist in that World for us to
object; which is {except those who believe and work righteous deeds and exhort one another to
truth and exhort one another to patience.} {Al-Asr: 3}.

Whereas in this world: - the man is the human race, i.e. the man is in loss and in fall because of his
presence in the physical world; except if he believed in the successor of God in his time and worked
with him. {Except those who believe and do good deeds and exhort one another to truth and exhort
one another to patience.}

(p182)Question 110: It was narrated from a Hadith from Ahlulbayt (pbut) that whoever kills one of
their enemies in the midst (in battle) of Imam Mahdi (pbuh) then for him is the reward of twenty
martyrs([1]), and this favour does not repeat for whoever is killed/martyred in the midst (in battle)
of his (pbuh) hands.

Answer: In the apparent (meaning) it (killing) is better than martyrdom; because whoever kills an
enemy for Imam Mahdi (pbuh) then he has placed a stone in the divine state of justice and truth,
and let us remember here that Hamza (pbuh) and Ali (pbuh) both were killing/fighting and that Ali is
better than Hamza; because Ali (pbuh) fights with caution whereas Hamza (pbuh) fights with
excitement (for martyrdom), so it is required for the fighters (Mujahideen) to request for the
elimination (death) for the warring disbeliever enemy and not to request only for martyrdom even
though it (i.e. martyrdom) is the best (reward) in the worldy life and the hereafter.

As for considering the meaning from the hidden (meaning), then the meaning of the Hadith is: That
whoever kills for us an enemy (that is to say) he kills his corrupt belief/faith and guides him to the
truth and towards following the Qaim (riser) of the Family of Muhammad (pbut).
The Messenger of Allah (pbuhaf) said to that effect: (O Ali because if you guide a man towards Allah
it is better for you than a red camel (in another Hadith: better for you than this world and everything
in it).)(*2+)

And also (another meaning) according to the hidden (meanings): Whoever kills the poisonous self for
Imam Mahdi (pbuh), meaning whoever kills the Ego.

*1+ From Abi Jafar (pbuh) as he advised a group that said to him: O son of the Messenger of Allah we
want Iraq so advise us, thus he said: ( and know that the one who waits for this matter (emergence
of Qaim) then for him is a reward like that of a fasting person who is awake (while fasting), and
whoever encounters the Riser and emerges with him and kills our enemy then he will have the
reward similar to 20 martyrs, and whoever gets killed with our Riser he will have the reward similar
to that of 25 martyrs.) AlKafi: vol 2, page 222.

(p182)Question 111: What is the meaning of the Al-mightys saying: ,.. And He holds the sky so as it
cannot fall on the earth except with His permission. ..}[1] ?

Answer: Meaning that He withholds the sky from falling on the earth by a pillar that He has raised
the sky with, {Allah it is who hath raised the heavens/skies with pillars other (than the ones) that ye
can see, ..}[2].

So the pillar that holds the sky and raises it, it is the pillar of light that descends from the sky to the
Earth, and it is Allah within the creation and it is the Face of Allah, and he is Muhammad (pbuhap).
And likewise, in every era, it is the Hujja (proof) of Allah upon the people of the Earth, and if it were
not (this way) then the Earth would be corrupted by its people and return to not-existing, thus it is
the pillar of light descending from the sky to the Earth, and it holds the Earth (from corruption) and
holds the sky by His permission the Glorified the Al-mighty (who is far above) what they associate
(with Him).

(p182)Question 112: What is the meaning of the Al-mightys saying: ,Those who pledge allegiance
with you they, in fact, pledge allegiance with Allah. Allahs hand is over their hands. Then, whoever
breaks his pledge breaks it to his own detriment, and whoever fulfils the covenant he has made with
Allah, He will give him a great reward}[1] ?

Answer: Muhammad (pbuhap) is the Hand of Allah, and in the Hadith Al-Qudsi (Hadiths from Allah
swt) to that effect: (My servant will remain - coming closer to Me through the Ordinances (Wilaya,
praying, fasting, etc) until he becomes My hand and My eye )(*2+), so the Hujja (proof) over the
people of the Earth is the Hand of Allah and the Eye of Allah within His creation, and inside Dua
AlSemat: (And Your emergence in Mount Faran)(*3+), meaning the emergence of Allah in Mecca by
Muhammad (pbuhap).

(p183)Question 113: Why did the Al-mighty say: {.. Surely, the harshest of voices is the voice of the
donkeys}[1] ?

Answer: The Al-mighty said: {The likeness of those who are entrusted with the Law of Moses (Torah),
yet apply it not, is as the likeness of the donkey carrying books. ..}[2], so the likeness of the corrupt
scholars in the Kingdom of Heavens and as the Angels see them is like that of a donkey, and the Al-
mighty said concerning the corrupt scholars that oppose the Call of the Prophets and Messengers:
{As though they were donkeys on alert. * Fleeing away from a lion.}[3], meaning they (corrupt
scholars) are like a donkey that flees from a lion, and the voice of the corrupt scholars is evil and it is
the harshest of voices; because it is the vicious voice that disputes (against) the sincere truth that is
brought by the Prophets and Messengers and Hujjas/(proofs of Allah) (pbut) upon the people of the
Earth.

====================================================================
(p184)Question 114: Why did the Al-mighty say: {And you certainly know the first creation; then why
do you not remember?}[1] ?

Answer: The First Creation: it is the Thar World, and in it was the first trial, and the children of Adam
have already knowingly inhabited in it , however when they came to this World it veiled them with a
physical density (body), then it tempted them (with desires) and (made them) transgress and made
them forget about the Remembrance of Allah, and the Guardians from the Prophets and
Messengers and Hujjas (pbut) remember this (first) creation and know their Guardians inside it, and
everyone whom his nature is pure remembers this previous creation, and (also) knows his situation
in it, however most of mankind {And be not like those who forgot Allah and He caused them to
forget their ownselves, ..}[2].

So on account of their forgetfulness of Allah and taking interest with the physical world and their
submersion in their desires (or lusts) they do not remember a thing about their selves and the
previous world that they lived in and their situation in it.

====================================================================
(p184)Question 115: The Messenger of Allah (pbuhap) said: (Hussain is from me and I am from
Hussain)(*1+), what is the meaning of I am from Hussain?

Answer: Al-Hussain (pbuh) inside all the Worlds is from the Messenger of Allah (pbuhap), and
without the Messenger of Allahs (saying) this is certain, however the one who reveals the matter of
the Messenger of Allah (pbuhap) and his favour and his elevated rank and his truth and he teaches it
to the people of the Earth is Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh), {He it is who hath sent His apostle with the
guidance and the true religion that he may make it prevail over all religions, ..}[2].

So the Original Islamic Muhammadi Religion emerges unto the Earth through Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh),
and Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh) is from the children of Al-Hussain (pbuh), and the foundation and true
pivot of the revolution of Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh) is the revolution of Al-Hussain (pbuh), so through
Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh) this Verse becomes achieved: {that he may make it prevail over all religions},
and he will teach the people of the Earth Muhammad (pbuhap) and his magnificent importance and
his elevated rank, and Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh) is a fruit from the fruits of Al-Hussain (pbuh), and the
revolution of Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh) that is reforming and universal what is it except the genuine
fruit that is produced by the revolution of Al-Hussain (pbuh), so through Al-Hussain (pbuh) Islam
remained and Muhammad (pbuhap) remained, and through Al-Hussain emerges Islam and emerges
Muhammad (pbuhap), and through Al-Hussain Islam is known and Muhammad (pbuhap) is known.

(p185)Question 116: What is the meaning of sending Blessings upon Muhammad and the Progeny of
Muhammad? (i.e. O Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad)

Answer: The Salat (sending blessings) means the supplication and pleading and begging to Allah for
requesting something from Him the Glorified and Al-mighty, or the coming closer to Him and it is
also a request, so when we say: O Allah send blessings upon Muhammad, it means we are
requesting from Allah the Glorified the Al-mighty to raise the matter of Muhammad (pbuhap) and to
elevate his rank, and certainly the rank of Muhammad (pbuhap) is the closest rank and that there is
no rank beyond it, so his rank is firm and he is the companion of the rank that is a distance of two
bows (close to Allah) may Allah send blessings upon him and his progeny, therefore the request from
Allah through the sending of blessing upon Muhammad is to raise the matter of Muhammad and to
elevate the rank of Muhammad (pbuhap) with the people, meaning to teach the people of the
magnificent matter of Muhammad (pbuhap), and this is obtained with the emergence of Imam Al-
Mahdi (pbuh); because he will distribute and spread 25 letters of knowledge, so he will teach the
people about Monotheism, and he will teach them about the Messengers, and he will teach them
about the (Holy) Books, and he will teach them about the Angels, and he will teach them about the
creation (representative) of Allah the Glorified the Al-mighty, and he will teach them about
Muhammad (pbuhap), so when we say: O Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and the Progeny of
Muhammad, this means that we are saying: O Allah reveal the truth of Muhammad and the Progeny
of Muhammad, and reveal the magnificent rank of Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad,
meaning it is as if we are saying: O Allah hasten the appearance of Muhammad and the Progeny of
Muhammad, and it is as if we are saying: O Allah reveal justice and truth and equity and denounce
injustice and corruption and inequity, and as a result it is as if this Remembrance i.e. : (O Allah send
blessings upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad) is the best Remembrance and its
reward is great, and what I have learnt from Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh) is that the greatest
Remembrance is this saying: (In the name of Allah the most Merciful the intensely Merciful and
There is no power nor strength except through Allah the Most High the Most Great O Allah send
Your blessings and peace upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad).

And whoever says it 50 times then he will not be written as Negligent for that day, and if he said it
100 times he will be written as an Attentive (in Remembrance) for that day, and if he said it 1000
times then he will be of those who are Successful with Allah and with Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh).

The Al-mighty said: {Lo! Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask
blessings on him and send your Salam (prayer for his being in peace) to him in abundance}[1],
meaning that the believers are requesting from Allah to send blessings upon Muhammad, thus they
say: (O Allah send blessings and peace upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad), and the
meaning of send peace (Salim Tasliman): i.e. give them security and safety, and the security is the
pledge of allegiance to Al-Qaim/the Riser (pbuh), and the safety will be inside the Qaims Nation
(pbuh) ([2]), the Al-mighty said: {.. and whosoever entereth it is safe. ..}[3], and the Al-mighty said: {..
Travel therein secure in the night and in the day.}[4].

he said: (This is) for our Qaim of the Ahlulbayt (Progeny of Muhammad), and as for and whoever

(p186)Question 117: O Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad just
as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the Progeny of Ibrahim, and it is known that Muhammad
and the Progeny of Muhammad are greater (in rank) than Ibrahim and the Progeny of Ibrahim, so
how can a request be made to Allah to send blessings upon Muhammad and the Progeny of
Muhammad just as He sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the Progeny of Ibrahim (pbut), shouldnt it
(the request) be greater than sending blessings upon Ibrahim and the Progeny of Ibrahim?

Answer: The sending of blessings upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad means a
request from Allah the Glorified the Al-mighty to support (or give relief to) Muhammad and the
Progeny of Muhammad and to (cause the) appearance of their Qaim, and for this reason it matches
with (the meaning of) sending blessings upon Ibrahim and the Progeny of Ibrahim; because Allah the
Glorified the Al-mighty hastened the relief for Ibrahim and the Progeny of Ibrahim (pbut) and
(caused) the emergence of their Qaim (riser), and that was Allahs Prophet Moses (pbuh). So the
request from Allah for sending blessings upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad just as
He sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the Progeny of Ibrahim, it means: O Allah (cause) the
emergence of the Qaim of the Progeny of Muhammad (pbuh) just as you (caused) the emergence of
the Qaim of the Progeny of Ibrahim (pbuh) and he is Moses (pbuh), and the children of Israel were
waiting for Moses (pbuh) just as the Muslims right now are waiting for Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh).
====================================================================
(p188)Question 120: What is the reasoning behind sending an infallible Imam (pbuh) to
preach/decide on belief/faith and not preach/decide on Jurisprudence, given the fact that the
Islamic Nation (Ummah) requires the worldly rulings of Jurisprudence more?

Answer: Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh) walks in the footsteps of his grandfather the Messenger of Allah
(pbuhap) and in the footsteps of the Prophets and Messengers (pbut) and does not go beyond that
to anything else from the footsteps of the wicked people from the corrupt scholars, so if you re-
examine the footsteps of the Messenger of Allah (pbuhap) and the footsteps of the Prophets and
Messengers (pbut) then you will find at the start of their Message they started with the belief/faith
and Monotheism in particular, then they shift towards legislation/Sharia or Jurisprudence, so the
example of the belief/faith and Monotheism relative to the legislation/Sharia and Jurisprudence
is like the example of the foundation and the walls to the roof, so the roof cannot be built until after
the foundation and walls are built.

And now if we re-examine the dispatch of Moses (pbuh) by his grandfather he (Moses) called/invited
to the belief/faith and monotheism until he (pbuh) spent forty years in Egypt inviting to the
belief/faith, and even after Egypt (i.e. after the crossing river) he spent a long time inviting to
monotheism and the reformation of the belief/faith with the children of Israel, and he did bring the
Jurisprudence until after a long time when he went to His Lords (appointed) term during the
confusion (lasting 40 years, Quran ,5:26-), and the Quranic verses were explicit in saying that when
he returned from His Lords (appointed) term he was carrying the inscribed tablets of
Legislations/Sharia, so what was he acting on before coming with the Legislations/Sharia? (Nothing)
except that he was spreading Monotheism and the true belief/faith, the Al-mighty said: {When
Moses came back to his people angry and grieved, he said: "Evil it is that ye have done in my place in
my absence: did ye make haste to bring on the judgment of your Lord?"? He put down the Tablets
seized his brother by (the hair of) his head, and dragged him To him. Aaron said: "son of my mother!
The people did indeed reckon me as naught, and went near to slaying me! Make not the enemies
rejoice over my misfortune, nor count thou me amongst the people of sin."}[1].

As for Muhammad (pbuhap) he invited/called during thirteen years in Mecca and it was mostly for
the reformation of the belief/faith and Monotheism and he did not extend (the call) for the
reformation of the legislations (Sharia) until after the thirteen years of the Call, and Imam Al-Mahdi
(pbuh) doesnt leave the Tradition (Sunna) of the Messenger of Allah nor the Tradition (Sunna) of the
Prophets and Messengers, indeed it is the Tradition (Sunna) of Allah from the past and (for) the
future and you will not find a change/variation to the Tradition (Sunna) of Allah.

Furthermore O my dear brother observe through investigation and contemplation that the
Legislation/Sharia in every religion is as much as the (amount of) Monotheism in that religion, so the
Islamic Legislation (Sharia) is more complete than the previous Legislations (Sharias); because the
Monotheism inside the Quran and that was clarified in the past by the Messenger of Allah and the
preceding Imams (peace and blessings be upon them) is more complete than the Monotheism that
was brought by the preceding Prophets and Messengers, so O my dear brother if you knew from
Ahlulbayt (pbut) that all of what the Prophets and Messengers came with of Monotheism was 2
pieces, and nothing was propagated among the people except the 2 pieces, and that Imam Al-Mahdi
(pbuh) will come with 25 pieces ([2]) of Monotheism and the information is (gained) through the
path of the Heavens and what is inside them and the true belief/faith that pleases Allah, and he will
propagate among the people 27 pieces that are the complete Divine Monotheism that Allah sent
Muhammad (pbuhap) with, however there hasnt propagated in that time from him (those 27
pieces) except 2 pieces (and) it is known that the Legislation/Sharia that Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh) will
come with is a lot larger than what is found among our hands right now; because the Islamic
Legislation/Sharia right now is on the (same) amount of the 2 pieces only, is it possible that Imam
Al-Mahdi (pbuh) propagates 27 pieces of Legislation/Sharia before he propagates 27 pieces of
Monotheism, which the Legislation/Sharia is built upon?

Certainly the answer will be no; so for the many reasons I have explained and clarified the people
cant bear the 27 pieces of Legislation/Sharia unless if they (believe in) monotheism of Allah through
the 27 pieces that Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh) is assigned with spreading and propagating it among the
people, and praise is to Allah alone.

[2] From Al-Sadiq (pbuh): (Knowledge is 27 letters and the entire amount that the Messengers
came with was 2 letters and the people dont know other than these 2 letters even until this day, so
if our Qaim rises the 25 letters will come out and he will propagate them to the people and he will
join the 2 letters with it so that he can propagate 27 letters) Bihar AlAnwar: vol 53, page 3.

(p190)Question 121: A lot are named (Grand Ayatullah Grand Sign of Allah) with the recent
scholars, so what is the meaning of Grand Ayatullah? And is it specifically (only) for the Imams
(pbut) or for everyone in order for all of the scholars to be called by it (rightfully)?

Answer: {Moses said to them, Pity on you, do not fabricate a lie against Allah, lest He should
destroy you with a punishment. And loser is he who fabricates a lie.-*1+.

The sign is a symbol or proof/evidence, and it is attributed to Allah the Glorified the Al-Mighty
concerning the (first) point of proving His existence the Glorified the Al-Mighty, and concerning the
(second) point of knowing Him the Glorified the Al-Mighty.

So as for the point of proving His existence the Glorified the Al-Mighty then all of the things created
and existing are Ayatullah/Sign of Allah and mankind is the greatest of them, and all the things that
exist indicate towards the existence of the Creator; because they are created, and also indicates
towards the existence of the Influencer/Initiator/Causer because they are
influenced/initiated/caused, and mankind is the most evidence and indication for the existence of
the Creator the Glorified the Al-Mighty.

And as for the point of knowing Him the Glorified the Al-Mighty then nothing is an Ayatullah/Sign of
Allah except His (the Glorified the Al-Mighty) Hujjas/proofs (pbut) upon His creation, since through
them Allah is known hence they are the evidence for Him truthfully and with certainty, and because
of this the meaning of Ayatullah/Sign of Allah is for them the Imams (pbut), and Grand Ayatullah is
specifically for the Prince of the Believers Ali ibn Abi Talib (pbuh), and the Ayatullah in this
generation is Imam Mahdi (pbuh), it is not even correct from this that Imam Mahdi Muhammad ibn
Al-Hassan (pbuh) is named Grand Ayatullah; because this title is specifically for the Trustee of the
Trustees Ali ibn Abi Talib (pbuh) since he is one of those who (came to) know Allah and taught the
creation through Allah the Glorified the Al-Mighty after Muhammad (pbuhap).

Since the scholars definitely dont want the first meaning; because it includes everyone whether
they were righteous or wicked, indeed the first meaning resembles towards the genus of the created
(creation), so using it to differentiate between individuals of the same race is invalid and illogical and
futile, thus they definitely want the second meaning, and because of this they have fallen into the
forbidden, therefore being called by this name (i.e. Ayatullah) for anyone other than the Imams
(pbut) is forbidden so indeed being called Grand Ayatullah for anyone other the Prince of the
Believers (pbuh) is also forbidden.

And it has been narrated from the correct narrations from them (pbut) that Fatima (pbuh) and the
Imams (pbut) are called by Ayatullah, from AlKathim (pbuh) from his fathers (pbut) from the
Messenger of Allah (pbuhap), he said: (I entered heaven and then saw on its door written in gold:
There is no deity except Allah, Muhammad is the beloved of Allah, Ali ibn Abi Talib is the trustee of
Allah, Fatima is the sign of Allah (Ayatullah) )(*2+), and from the Prince of the Believers (pbuh) he
said: (The Imam is the Word of Allah, and the Hujja (proof) of Allah, and the Face of Allah, and the
Light of Allah, and the Veil of Allah, and the Sign of Allah (Ayatullah), Allah chooses him and causes
by him what He Wills and requires towards him thereby the Wilaya/authority and the obedience
upon all of His creation, thus he is His trustee in His sky and His Earth )(*3+).

And it was narrated that the Prince of the Believers Ali ibn Abi Talib (pbuh) was called by Grand
Ayatullah, Sheikh AlMufeed and AlShaheed and AlSayyed ibn Tawus said inside the book Al-Iqbal
(r.a) narrated that Jafar ibn Muhammad AlSadiq (pbuh) visited the Prince of the Believers may
Allahs blessings be upon him with this Ziyara (visiting the shrine/holy place): ( Until he (pbuh)
said: Peace be upon you O Grand Ayatullah )(*4+).

And it has been narrated (a narration) prohibiting and disallowing about anyone other than Ali ibn
Abi Talib (pbuh) calling themselves by the Prince of the Believers, from Al-Sadiq (pbuh): a man
asked him about the Qaim (pbuh) sending peace upon him by (calling him) the Prince of the
Believers, he said: (That is incorrect this is a name that Allah named the Prince of the Believers
(pbuh) with (and) no one has been named by it before him, and no one will be named by it after him
except a disbeliever, I said: May I ransom myself for you how does one send peace upon him? He
said: He says - peace be upon you O Remainder of Allah, then he read: {(the) Remainder of Allah is
better for you if ye are believers; -*5+. )(*6+).

And Al-Ritha (pbuh) was asked: why was the Prince of the Believers (pbuh) named (as such)? He said
(pbuh): (Because he fed them knowledge, as you hear in Allahs book: , And the provider of our
family -*7+. )(*8+).

So if no one is named after Ali (pbuh) by the Prince of the Believers except a disbeliever, then what
is their evidence upon (the fact) that they name themselves by a name exclusively for the Prince of
the Believers (pbuh), and it is Grand Ayatullah.

{They are but names which you have named you and your fathers for which Allh has sent
down no authority. They follow but a guess and that which they themselves desire, whereas there
has surely come to them the Guidance from their Lord! (23) Or shall man have what he wishes? (24)
. But they have no knowledge thereof. They follow but a guess, and verily, guess is no substitute
for the truth. (28) Therefore withdraw from him who turns away from Our Reminder and desires
nothing but the life of this world. (29) That is what they could reach of knowledge. Verily, your Lord
it is He Who knows best him who goes astray from His Path, and He knows best him who receives
guidance. (30)}[9].

Therefore it is a must that the people do not transgress their limits and especially the scholars, and
(a duty) upon them is to heed this truth and to comply to it, indeed with humility grows wisdom and
not with pride.
