1 Whos Entitled to a Permit

A maximum of TWO permits are issued to

each household in streets designated as
within residents parking zones. A household
is a house or at in a Permit Parking zone
that is registered for Council Tax, has
appropriate planning permissions, and
does not have a planning condition and/
or informative. Residents may be asked to
demonstrate appropriate planning consents.
Commercial vehicles are not eligible for
resident permits.
2 First or Second YOU decide
The rst permit for a household is issued
free of charge. A charge of 80 is made for
a second permit. It is up to YOU to decide
who will apply for the rst and who will
apply for the second permit. If more than
one application for the rst permit is received
it could delay your application.
3 Renewing Your Permit
Permits are issued for twelve months,
there are no zone renewal months. It will
be up to you to renew your permit, as
reminders may not be sent in the future.
However, we have introduced an online
system and you may be able to renew
online before the permit expires. If you
provide an email address, we may send
you a reminder. However you must note
the expiry date for your permit as it will be
the permit holders responsibility to renew
the permit.
4 Providing Proofs

proof of current residence. That means
a copy of ONE document which must be
a bank statement / credit card / storecard

document must show you reside at that
address. The document must be dated
within four months of the application date.

are acceptable as long as they show your

processed, minimum 28 days.

one of the existing, permit-holding vehicles,
